Chapter 22: Peace?

I had been working in the workshop to take my mind off of the idea of war and such as what Izuku said.. he believed it would be best to surrender? That isn't like him.. Piltover would win in the war.. surely instead of this "Zaun"

I heard clinking of metal and saw the girl from meeting of which had been the witness for Caitlyn, though I had no idea what her name was

Me: why are you here

She looked at everything in the workshop while speaking to me, possibly picking up a few things and putting them down

???: well I didn't like the idea of surrendering to "Zaun" like Izuku and some of the councillors may want

I looked at her in shock and was about to ask what she wanted then but it seemed she could read thoughts

???: I wanted to see who was willing to fight against Silco, shutting down his shimmer factories, killing his troops that work for him believing him getting rich off of all the production he does

I sighed I didn't want to go against a decision that was made as if Zaun came looking for war, then they'd lose even if they have a single arcane gemstone its remotely impossible to create another of its kind without plans of the refinery

Me: I could send you to Stillwater with a single word you know?

She scowled at me hating me it seemed but also not at the same time she was a confusing women

???: do you even know what happens there, too SS someone in, let them rot there, keep them in a concrete box, for years may I add what's that punishment or a elixir for madness

I sighed then just deciding to agree with her and thought I should make a new weapon for me, to use against the men that'd try to kill me

I began working on the plans.. something that'd suit me best.. a hammer.. the symbol that resembles my clan.. I'll give it a ranged mode, 2 handed, light enough to carry but strong enough to hold everything together.. and of course powered by Hextech

Afterwards making it me and as I learned her name to be Vi, me and her busted into the factory about to try and shut it down..

We walked all over the place but there didn't seem to be any guards.. it was off... and odd.. but soon men came out with armour

I soon reached the bottom and looked at the recently deceased body to find out.. it was a kid.. oh god.. it's a kid.. A god damned kid..

Is this what it's like for the.. the.. trenchers.. god.. Izuku was right..

I closed his eyes, giving silent prayers on what had happened.. silently hating myself too before Violet came up behind me

Violet: you did what you had to do.. he knew what he was signing up for

She was alright with this! Killing kids- trenchers even.. her own.. all because of one guy... shit, after finally standing up I faced her with quite the power stance

Me: we are done here.

She seemed surprised and began to speak and stepped closer towards me

Violet: we haven't even scratched the surface, Silco is still out there

Yea damn right he is, he's out there I could make peace with him and all could be well.. this kid could be alive.. so sighing not really understanding her
