Me and Viktor were working on the shed-Gates though he wasn't too happy about it.. I kind of understood our pledge.. we're not going to be able to fulfill it if it continued at the pace it's been going at..

Viktor: this is a waste of time..

I nodded a tiny bit being understanding but I failed Piltover once I won't do it again.. I'll safe guard Hex-Tech as much as it needs to be done

Me: I understand Viktor however if the Hex-Gates or any other Hex-Tech machinery isn't safe guarded then it could spell death on a continental scale

He seemed to hate doing this kind of things, as he wasn't a defender type person.. I've learned that.. he's a maker, creator, and/or inventor he prefers to keep making things to improve life especially since he came from the undercity

Viktor: this is a poor use of our time

He walked over to the banister and looked down it

Me: I'm a councillor now I need to make sure the people are safe first and foremost

He seemed upset and irritated at this, and unforgiving? I don't know Viktor can be a hit or a miss

Viktor: what about our pledge to improve lives, for those in need? For the undercity?

I sighed understanding, though I guess I really can't not being from the undercity, he isn't capable of walking like a normal person because of where he grew up

Me: look, I'm sorry I didn't announce our other projects in my speech, soon, we can do everything we—

He was almost hurt when I had said that but it was soon, I needed to double check everything which would take a week at least

Viktor: soon? There are people who need our help now, Jayce

the Sheriff Marcus had come and grabbed my attention as I continued writing in my clip board of my suspicions

Marcus: you wanted to see me?

He sounded strict, loyal, robotic almost which I didn't like too much myself

Me: have your people ever reviewed these logs

He sighed now knowing what this is about now

Marcus: mr Talis I assure you—

I cut him off here as a means of correcting and instilling a sort of order

Me: councillor. And the only assurance I need is that you will search and seize any unauthorised merchandise, this is a list of suspicious transactions made to and through the Hex-Gates

He grabbed a hold of the clipboard I was handing to him and I needed to be sure of myself when talking to.. staff? I don't know anymore being a councillor is difficult

Marcus: with all due respect, this is your first day on th—

I cut him off needing to sound more agitated than I actually am needing to get correct answers and truthful ones too

Me: second

He seemed nervous to now be talking to me as I was busy and "strict" with him so he stammers for a moment clearly shocked

Marcus: right, you sure you don't want to confer with the other councillors before

I walked off to a banister about 90 degrees left from Viktor
