Wow, it's been nearly a month since I last updated! Sorry!
The thing that scared me most about the mask, is that it looks the exact same as it did in my dream, but the dress is completely different. I looked at Lili and Oscar, and they gave me the same weird look. They were the only ones I told about my dream, and I'm sure they recognised the mask from my description. Everyone began talking about their masks. Apart from Austin, who was staring at me.
'Way to make it awkward' I thought to myself.
"So..." Austin began, "Were we like, dating?" He smirked. I blushed
"Yeah..." He paused.
"That's it?" My checks turned even reader than before.
"Umm, yeah." He chuckled at my answer. He then proceeded to talk to Oscar, and I was thankful for the lack of attention.
We were told to go change in the bathrooms, and to freshen up in general. I wonder if they've actually gotten us another set of clothes or if they just say that as in to put the mask on. My heels, and the rest of the ladies' heels, clicked on the hard wood floor. The men went to one side of the room and we went to the other.
Lili grabbed my arm and walked me down the large hallway that apparently led to the bathroom. When I walked in with her I gasped. The room was enormous. The ceiling was covered in a renaissance styled painting of fat cherubs sitting on plush clouds. In the centre of the room was a large circle of sinks, mirrors, and makeup containers. There was a sink for each lady, and each had the specific lady's name on a metal plaque above the mirror. There were roses, real roses, that entwined around the face of each mirror. Every lady's rose was a different colour. Mine was the same as my crystal, a dark purple, almost violet.
What surprised me the most about the bathroom was the doors that lined the walls. Like the mirrors, each door had one of the ladies' names on it.
Everyone was ecstatic about the bathroom, even me. One if found my door, I went for the handle, before Lili quickly grabbed my hand.
"Beth... inside is a dressing room." I gave her a funny look. "Inside the dressing room, is a dress... What I mean is that, everyone's mask is matching their dress." What did she mean? It then clicked. Could that dre- nightmare, have actually been a vision, and not a figment of my imagination.
I gulped and clicked the handle open. The door swung silently in and what I dreaded sat on a coat hanger in a clear dress bag. The balck lace and violet material was all their and I knew I was in for a strange night.
