I would've known that voice anywhere. I remember that I'm meant to breathe and turn around to see Austin. Tall, dark haired, handsome and oh so manly...

Well, that's what most girls that see him would say. To me, he's the goofy smiled boy that I met the first time I arrived in this dump (although he is still hot).

I ran up to him and and gave him a hug as if I hadn't seen him in years even though I saw him 2 days ago. He works here as a chaplain for the kids even though he's only 19. I gave him a long kiss on the lips then remembered that Gabs was in the room so I cut it short to prevent awkwardness.

"Parents rejected you again?" he asked using mock sadness. I haven't seen him genuinely sad since his brother, Oscar, mysteriously disappeared.

"Yes, at least I can see you tonight though." I say, my arms hanging around his shoulders.

"Umm, about that," he says looking nervous "I'm sorry, the hostel kids are going to the circus tonight."

"Circus? Since when did hostel kids do fun stuff?"

"Since the government started funding outings. To boost moral or something, but it started yesterday so we get to take the kids out for one day each week to do something fun. So why not start with the circus?"

"That sounds...great."I said trying to sound happy.

"You don't sound convinced."

"Well, I would rather spend the time with you. But the circus will do."

"Will you two stop, it feels weird seeing two girls swoon over each other." Jonathan joked as he walked by, laughing at his own humour.

"Haha, very funny." Austin said sarcastically as he punched Jonathan in the arm.

"I think I'm gonna leave." Gabs said as she pushed past me and Austin into the hallway.

"Who put awkward potion in her food?" Jonathan asked as he watched her walk down the hallway, her blonde bob haircut bouncing as she did.

"You know you like her." Austin teased. Jonathan blushed then walked back to his room.

"He so likes her." I said watching him shoot Austin a dirty look over his shoulder as he walked away.

"Do you have to go tonight?" I pleaded turning back to gaze up at Austin.

"Yes, I do, and so do you."

"What, why?" I snapped back at the suggestion.

"Because it would be fun and you also count as a hostel kid, sooooo, your coming." he said that last bit with a smile. I groaned then lightened up when I remembered that I would be able to spend some time with Austin at the circus.

"Oh, alright." I said playfully, giving in.

Just then the dinner bell rang.
