Alex~

It's officially the day of the trip. I'd packed my bags early and had my permission papers two days after the trip had been announced. Everyone was loud in the gym, waiting on announcements to be called. For the busses to start loading up and taking off.

"I am so excited!" Terry shook Shell. "Would you stop that? You're gonna snap her neck off." Braydon grumbled. He was not a morning person. And definitely not with all of this noise going on around him. I laugh a little and pat his shoulder.

"Lowkey kinda mad I won't get to share a cabin with any of you." Terry sighed, referring to the fact that they're the only non-binary person in the group. "Well, it's not like we get to choose who we share a cabin with."

"True." Everyone said with a sigh. "Hey guys!" Loel greeted, joining us in our miniature circle. Everyone spoke back and we started talking about random things until the announcements finally came on.

"Good afternoon students. As you all know, we have a field trip this morning. Everyone that is going on the trip should be in the gym, if you are not for any reason, please get there, and if you are not supposed to be in the gym, you know who you are, get back to class." After the pricipal said that many left, leaving about 60 kids left. Braydon shook his head. "You will load your bags in the back of the school bus you are getting on. Only 3 a seat in the bus, If you wish to only have two you may, but having one to a seat is not an option. There are 64 people in total going on this field trip so there will be 4 busses depending on the way some students decide to sit. That is all for announcements, have a good trip." Boop Boop.

Loading the busses were messy. With people not knowing were to sit, people switching seats. Some not trusting their bags in the back with others. It was a mess. But we finally ended up finishing and getting settled.

I ended up sitting with Braydon, Shell and Terry were on the seat across from us. And Loel was somewhere with James. I hate bus rides, a couple always decides it's a great time to fuck, which it isn't. Who in the hell is so desperate that they want to have sex in a bus filled with other teenagers? Our generation is stupid. I roll my eyes at the thought of it and lean on Braydon's shoulder while I read my book. He was already knocked out.

---

I'm guessing we were a good minute in because when I woke up, the bus was parked in a dollar general parking space and majority of people were missing. Including Braydon. I sigh and grab my phone.

Me: Bathroom break?

Braydon: Yep. You want a snack before I leave?

Me: Just chips and a water.

Braydon: Gotcha.

Me: Aren't you gonna ask me what kind of chips I want?

Braydon: Sun chips, correct?

Me: Oh. Hah.

Braydon: Mhm.

I laugh and put my phone back in my pocket as the everyone started to flood back in the bus.

"Good morning students! I am Lizzy and I will be your guide on this camping trip. I will explain how we run things around here and answer any questions or concerns you have after. As you know, you will be here for 3 days. Today you will be focused on unpacking and exploring, which means tours, there are different tour guides to different parts of the woods that I will get into more detail later. Tomorrow you all will be doing team activities and competitions, and the day after that you will be having a party, and after that party you will pack your things and leave that night, you should arrive home by 10 so go ahead and let your parents know beforehand if you want. As for food, we have a big area for food, it is outside, but it has roof protection. That will be for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will not be allowed snacks unless you brought your own in your bag. Even so there is no eating in the cabins. Cabin rules are on the cabin, I have papers right here that tell you who is in what cabin decided by your teachers. Yes, whatever group activity is in occurrence, you will have to be on teams with your cabin mates. Any questions?"

No one responded, everyone looked fed up with this lady's mouth. She had an annoying country accent. "Oh, and I forgot, bonfires every night except for the party day. They all start at 9 and end at 9:30, we tell stories and play ice breaker games." She soaked up everyone's silence again, hearing nothing but crickets. "Alrighty." She wattled to a wall and pinned the papers up for our cabin organizations and everyone rushed towards them as if they were trying to see whether they made lead role or not in some school play.

As the area started to clear, I walked up to the paper. I was put with Shell, Rocky, Kate and Amber. I didn't have a problem with that because I knew all of them except for Amber. But I do admit to being a little disappointed that I wasn't in a room with Loel.
