Loel's POV~

I just got out of the hospital; my parents are treating me like I'm a five-year-old that broke her leg. "Mom, it's just memory loss, I can still walk up the stairs." I say, a little annoyed. They haven't been letting me do things for myself, and I know it's because I've been in the bed for 2 weeks straight but I'm not gonna get anywhere if they keep doing everything for me. "Ok honey, be careful." My mom watched me as I went up the stairs.

Finally, I got to my room and closed my door. I couldn't stop thinking about that girl... Alex? Her eyes were so pure and grey, the way she looked at me. She was so... handsome, her hair was up in a messy bun when I first saw her, she had pale skin and slender eyes. She was wearing a fake green hoodie and black baggy pants. I sigh, she said she'd see me at school, meaning we obviously go to the same school, so I hope we have a few classes together since they claim to be my friends.

School should be fine, do people know about it? I can't believe I forgot who those two people are... if they were at the hospital for me, they must be close to me or care about me a lot. Or maybe they're really really nice classmates? Just thinking about it makes my head hurt, so for now, I'll go to sleep.

-----

"Darling, wake up and get ready for school, you slept past your alarm." My dad yells from downstairs. "Breakfast is waiting downstairs, have a good day!" My mom yelled after him. I smiled a little and dragged myself out of bed.

I walked to my bathroom and looked in the mirror. I haven't seen myself in a while. I still had a bruise on my forehead, my long curly hair was in a messy low bun. My light brown skin complimented by my freckles and brown eyes looked better than I remember. I smile and get ready for the day.

I threw on a brown hoodie and ripped dark skinny blue jeans, I finished it off with my brown designed converse boots and my dangly shark tooth earrings that were tinted yellow. After I finished putting them on, I put my hair back in its low messy bun, but a little more presentable.

I walk into my school. It's kind of like I'm a new student here since I don't remember anybody, then I see the two very attractive people that were there at the hospital with me. I approach them. "Heyyyy." I smile. Braydon smiles back and nudged Alex's shoulder. "Oh, hey!" Alex said. Today she was wearing a burnt orange sweater and dark brown patched pants, of course they were baggy. And she wore black and white converse as her shoes. "I like your style." I blurt out. She looked down and muttered, "Yeah." She had a smile on her face.

-----

We were in this teacher's class, Mr. Bradly. Alex led me to the seat beside her and class started shortly after. "Ah, Loel, you're back. I'm guessing all is well?" I've got to get used to these people knowing my name. "Haven't you heard Mr. Bradly? She lost her memory." One of the basic girls said, followed by a lot of whispering. Mostly about the car crash and they were saying that it was Alex's fault, I blocked them out and tapped on her shoulder as she was dosing off.

"Hm?" She sat up, looking at me with tired eyes and started to dose again. "You do know we're in class, right?" I interrupt. "So?" She replied, making me smirk. "I'm kinda sleepy too, whoever falls asleep first?"

"Pays for the others lunch." She finishes my sentence. "Mm, free lunch, that is so nice of you." I say in a sly tone. All she does is smile. "We'll see about that." She finally said.

Soon enough it was lunch time and I decided I wanted to go out. "What do you want?" She shook her head with a smile. "Let's go out, we don't have to stay here, do we?"

"Nah."

"Ok, I want starbucks."

"Starbucks it is." She shrugs, walking with me to the door. We drove her car to Starbucks and decided to drink inside. As you can tell, she lost.

"So what was all that talk in class?" I say with a smirk, sipping the frap I didn't pay for. "Oh whatever, the class is boring as hell." She took a sip of her drink. "Not all that whispering about the car crash." I muttered, wanting answers. There was more to it than just a car crash and I deserve to know. Why do they claim that it's her fault? And who is James? I eye her, it seems like a sensitive topic to her.

"Uh yeah." She spoke. "I don't really know." Alex started to rub the back of her head. I get this strong feeling when I'm around her, I don't know what it is. "Uh, ok?"

"You ready to go?" I ask.

"Yeah."

We got back to school and parted ways, she had a different class than me. I saw some guy walk up to me with a smirk on his face, looking me up and down like I was some treat. "Hey, baby." He said. I- I HAD A BOYFRIEND? I mean he's really cute but I don't appreciate the way he was looking at me, plus, shouldn't he know that I lost most of my memory?

"Hi?" I said, unsure of myself.

"I need to talk to you."
