"About?" I ask, looking up at him. I'm pinned against the lockers... it doesn't seem to faze me, aren't I supposed to be blushing and falling off a cliff in my head and doing summersaults? "The incident." He spoke in a husky voice, but then another husky voice chimed in.

"You don't need to talk to her about anything." It was Braydon, he was walking up behind James. Oh! That guy from the hospital again!

"Fuck off and mind your own business. It's an A B conversation so C your way out!" Me and Braydon look at him like he's stupid. "What are you? Five?" Braydon said, nodding for me to go with him, so I ducked under the guy and followed him.

"Who was that?" I ask as we walk.

"James, he has a crush on you and he's the reason you guys got into a car crash." My eyes widen. "What happened?" I ask.

"I'm sorry but I'm not sure of the details, I only knew that you got into a car crash, there are stories on the schools tea page, but they're all lies to cover his ass." He rolled his eyes and turned to his class. "Do you know where your next class is?" He asks. I nod, even though I don't, and he turns to walk into his class.

So then was Alex even a part of why we got into a car crash or were those just rumors too? Ugh. Why can't someone just tell me why I don't have my memories anymore.

When I got home, I got a call from my boyfriend? His name in my phone was 'James' with the heart emoji beside it, I answered and jumped on my bed.

"Hey." I said, since he didn't say anything when I answered. "Hey, so, I know you lost your memories, and you don't remember me, but we were talking and going on dates before the incident. And I'm still hella interested in you. I don't wanna give up on what we had. That's what I was trying to say in the hallway before that dude came up to us." He said through the phone.

"Eh, I don't how I feel about you after that A B C thing." I chuckled, causing him to laugh a little as well. "Hey! I was flustered, I didn't know what to say. He's an intimidating man." James spoke in a defensive joking tone.

"And how are you going to remind me of this relationship we had before?" I smirked a little. Everyone deserves second chances, right? His first impression wasn't that good, but all evidence points towards the fact that I used to like him, it actually caught me by surprise when he called me because I was looking through our texts before he did.

"Let me take you out." His tone changed into some flirtatious act. "And where would that be?" I ask, playing along.

"That fancy restaurant downtown, I'll pick you up and all." He said, very sure of himself. Personally, I don't do fancy, but I guess I'll try it out. "Ooou ok, well just let me know the details and I'll think about it." I could feel his smile through the phone.

"Ok, see you at school." He chuckled. "See ya." I said and hung up soon after. "Honey! Alex is here to see you, I'm sending her up."

Fuck, I totally forgot I asked her to be here by 4 to help me study!

I don't know why I felt the need to freshen up, but I did and set up my desk. I heard a knock at my door and slowly opened it to be met by Alex, She had changed into a black tank top and grey sweatpants, her hair was down. God her hair was down. Stray strands in perfect places. "So, geometry." I let her in and sat on my bed.

"Don't you think it's kind of strange that you only met me yesterday and you're comfortable with inviting me to your house?" She asked, looking around my room. "I..." I don't want to weird her out by saying I feel weirdly comfortable around her. It was so automatic when we met in the hospital after she calmed me down. "What? It's not like you're gonna murder me or something." I shrug.

"Oh really? How do you know?" She rose an eyebrow and went to grab something out of her pocket. "Hey! Hey now!" I stood up on my bed and grabbed a pillow. She laughed, "If I was actually a murderer you would have been dead, that is so sad." She shook her head and took a pencil out of her pocket. "Ah yes, this weapon is so threatening." I dropped my stance and threw the pillow at her.

"AHA!" I yell with a huge grin on my face as she caught the pillow after it hit her, we both laughed a little.

"Ok, so geometry." She reminded me and we both sat at my desk, working and studying. Turns out she wears reading glasses, I teased her about it for at least five minutes straight about it. Alex is a really cool person; I love how her sweet and shy personality don't match the way she looks at all. It throws me off, but it totally goes against the stud stereo type, and I love it.

Everything was going great until I got a call from James again, I excused myself and answered while I was in the room because I didn't see a reason to leave, I thought she'd tease me about having a crush/boyfriend.

"Hey, James!" I said once I answered.

"Hey, so about that date... does tomorrow sound good?" He asked.

"I'm not busy, so tomorrow is perfect." I smile, "Can't wait." I add.

"Bye, cutie." I ignore the cringe I felt at that pet name and say bye as well, hanging up after.

When I looked back at Alex, she was putting her things back into her school bag. "You leaving?" I say, even though the answer was obvious, I want to know why. "Um, yeah, my mom made dinner... I don't want it to get cold." She says in a dull voice. I can tell that isn't the only reason, but I don't ask any more questions.

"See you tomorrow then!" I say before she walks out of my room.

"Yep."
