The rest of the scavenger hunt was just everyone looking for everything, we ended up winning, probably because we got to the list first. And now country accent is explaining the rules to the second game, which was flag tag.
"Congrats on cabin 3 for winning the scavenger hunt. Now we will move on to flag tag! I will explain the rules and if there are any questions after, feel free to ask. "We will have two big groups. Flag colors are blue and red depending on your group. Each member of the team will wear a blue or red tag, you must protect your flag, but you may not hide it or hold it, you must keep it on the belt provided with a sticky part your flag will stick to. The objective is to take flags from the other team and take it to your home, of course if your flag is taken, you are out of the game. The team with the most flags by the end of the game or has taken all of the flags of the other team wins. You have 6 minutes to collect the most flags you can. Also, if your flag is taken by your opponent, you can not take it back. Everyone got it?" Lizzy explained excitedly.
Everyone nodded. I wonder how they'll divide teams. "Boys against girls! Girls are red, boys are blue, grab your belts and flags and get to your team." She added.
Of course. I don't have a problem with that, the boys just can't win, either they're gonna make a stupid bet with us, or they're going to be really annoying winners. I'm not up for any of that.Once the crowd was divided with girls on one side and boy on the other, Liz led the boys somewhere different to start off. Usually in games like this, I hide and sneak up on people to take their tag, and it would never fail because even when people tried to sneak up on me I'd hear them and take their flag before they could take mine.
"Go!" Liz yelled in something that made her voice appear louder. Girls sprinted into the woods. Amber ran with her friends and I stuck with Loel. "This should be interesting." She laughed a little and walked with me to the woods. "So what's the game plan?" She asked, looking up at me. I smiled a little and shrugged, "Not sure, I usually lay low."
"So you and Amber?" She said randomly.
"What? No." I say a little too defensive. She's the last person I want to think I like Amber. Not that I don't, but I'm still not sure of it. "I don't know, you seemed pretty into that kiss." She laughed.
"We should uh- start focusing on the game, the boys could come at any moment." At the corner of my eye I saw blue, I looked in that direction, they were close and we were in plane sight. They're definitely gonna try to take our flags. I pretended like I didn't notice him and let him creep on us a little bit more... but he got bold and started to walk directly towards us while our backs were turned, and when he got close enough I turned quickly to grab his flag.
"Damn it! How'd you know?" He whined.
"You're not exactly quiet." I rose an eyebrow and smiled a little, walking away with his flag. "That was hot-" Loel admitted, but it came so easy out of her mouth so I figured she didn't mean anything by it. "I-" Is all I said before a group of boys came up to us. I sigh and start running with Loel before they could corner us. We ran into a group of girls that outnumbered the boys that were chasing us.
And of course we all charged at them. It was hilarious. Later in the game, Loel ended up getting her flag taken by her crush. "Damn it, you fuckng loser!" She laughed, "I'm not doing that."
"You are, a deals a deal." He smirked. I'm guessing they made some kind of bet. I roll my eyes. "You can have mine." I flashed her a fake smile, "I'm kinda tired anyway." I lied, I'm really just not in the mood to play anymore.
"Really?" She smiled back at me, and when I nodded she kissed me on the cheek, calling me a pet name she calls everybody. I keep telling myself she doesn't mean anything by it because she doesn't. She does it to everyone. I'm no longer special to her because she doesn't know me. I walked out of the woods and sat on a bench, falling asleep not too long after.
I woke up to Braydon trying to fix the way I was sleeping. "Your neck is gonna be a pain in your ass for the next few days, how long have you been alseep?" He said, leaning back.
"Is the game over?" I ask.
"Yeah, you slept through the obstacle course too."
"Did we win?"
"Girls won the tag game, and my cabin won the obstacle course."
"Ah." I closed my eyes.
"No, you need to eat, everyone is eating dinner."
"If it's not chicken I don't want it."
"It's spaghetti."
"Yeah, no."
Braydon inhaled and sighed loudly, picking me up and carrying me bridal style. I can't stand him. I just wanna sleep. "With 100% apple juice." He added, I just know he has a big ass grin on his face.
"You're not funny!" It only makes him laugh more, I smile and shove his chest, getting out of his arms. "You disgust me." I joke as we continue to walk towards the lunch area.

Today was a free day, and at 6 we would have our party. Or at least that's when I'm going. It's gonna be outside, string lights, food tables. I imagine it being a spitting image of a Pinterest picture, but this is camp, it's definitely not gonna be. I know that.
I sat up in my bed and looked over at Amber's bed, she was in the process of putting on her dress. I groan, "ugh. How many times will you make me feel like I have to help you get ready?" She looked at me and smiled, stopping what she was doing just to flip me off. "Need help?" I ask. And all she did was nod.
I stretched and got up her help her zip the back of her dress, her hair was already done, she had curled it and it was out with a middle part. Her black dress was fitted, stopping right above the knee with spaghetti straps holding up the top. She didn't have a bra under it and it was a pretty silky dress. She looked good. Really good. After I helped her zip up the back she gave me a slow twirl. It was adorable.
"Sooooo, what do you think? Am I overdressed? I feel like I am since it's a camp party..."
"No, no, you look... wow." A warm feeling spread across my cheeks.
"Um, that is not a proper compliment, but I'll take it." She shook her head, "and you need to get ready! It already started."
"I don't have anything to wear."
She scoffed and walked over to my bag, getting ready to open it. "May I?" She asked as if she knew I had something. "You can look, but you won't find anything."
"I will find something!" She sounded determined and surprisingly took out 3 clothing items.
"Put this on. And it's not a request." Her tone was stern and serious.
Well fuck. I sighed, walking over to the clothes laid out in my bed.
