The chaos and hustle-bustle were finally decided to calm down in Jodhpur, Rajasthan at night. The palace of Singhanias was finally at peace but that peace would only last for a few hours only until the next dusk and everyone will again be busy.

And the reason for the chaos and hustle and bustle was Rudra Singhania. The third heir of the family and the rebellious one. No one had expected him to marry and when the news of him getting married in less than a week had come out, it had surprised everyone including the Singhanias also.

No one had expected Rudra to suddenly announce of him getting married to one of a business tycoon's daughters.

Surely, the elders had thrown a fuss over it but Rudra being Rudra Singhania didn't pay any attention to it. They knew that he certainly didn't love her, he never would. Rudra was a player of hearts and a walking temptation.

And him being falling for a girl like Dhwani Iyer was a no. She wasn't the hourglasses models heiress that used to grace his bed every night and the reason for this marriage reason was still unknown to everyone except Rudra.

Decked up in a blue velvet sherwani that matched his bronze skin and deep hazel eyes and dark brown hair, he entered his master bedroom. It was the same, neat and lavish except one thing, he was not alone in the room today.

She lay on the bed, in a white plazo and skirt. The small diamond in her mangalsutra shined under the pleasant moonlight.

He sat beside and looked at her serene face and cupped her cheek with his palm. But those eyes of his were filled with hatred.

"Like father... like daughter," he muttered under his breath but the calm self in him suddenly got replaced by an angry one.

Standing up from his bed, he picked up the jug filled with water before splashing on her. Dhwani straightened herself gasping for air. Fear and shock crept into her veins.

Lifting her eyes, she met with a smirking face. He was feeling satisfied and proud for making her drench, she concluded.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Dhwani stood up from the bed and asked.

"It is our wedding night, my dear wife. Don't you think who should be pleasuring your husband?" his tone was serious but somewhere sarcastic.

"I would rather prefer to die than to have sex with you," snapped Dhwani, only if she knew that her words had fueled his ego more.

"Don't tempt me, darling," Rudra smirked down at her before getting hold of her wrist and pulling her towards him. She could tell was drunk but still had managed to compose himself which was even more surprising.

He trailed her hand on from his chest to his sherwani's button and opened it with her fingers. Even though Dhwani dared not to but she couldn't help, his grip on her hand was tight.

He got rid of the sherwani and it fell on the floor showing off his chiselled six-pack abs and chest.

"Enjoying the view, Dhwani darling?" he asked once he found her gawking at him or most likely, his bare body.

This was the first time she was seeing a man this perfect and that too shirtless.

He slammed her on the wall and she gasped. Rudra attacked her neck, placing a hickey over there. "Leave me you son of a-hole--" her words stuck in the middle when she noticed blood running through the back of his neck.

"Rudra?" shocked by seeing him bleeding, Rudra saw Dhwani look at him until everything in front of his eyes went black slowly.

"Rudra stay awake... please," her pleas to come back slowly becoming inaudible to him.
