Rudra took a strong grip of her wrist and marched to somewhere she exactly had no clue. "Ru--dra... leave me," Dhwani cried but the man in front of her was too blinded in his anger to pay any heed towards her cries. His grip on her wrist was making her feel that her skin will be ripped off when he'll let her wrist free from his clutch.

They both descended the long stairs of what Dhwani hoped to never come to an end but before the blink of an eye, Rudra had managed to drag her out of the palace as his steps halted in front of the garden.

"You don't like it when someone is being nice to you, do you?" He freed her wrist from his hold but she stayed quiet. Her mind busy on smoothing the pain she got from his grip. "Answer me, Dhwani!" he demanded. The lightning flashed up in the dark sky and then the sound of thunder struck, flinching Dhwani by the two frightening sound. One on top of her and the second in front of her.

She felt terrified. Terrified of what her simple action in anger has cost her, terrified of the man in front of her who was capable of doing much worse but above of all, she felt sick of the tears that rolled down from her eyes, making her appear weak in front of him. She hated everything, including herself.

"No," her quivering voice merely made through his ears. "You are up always trying to prove me that you were, are and always going to be an unwanted person in my life." The hatred in voice had made Dhwani's bones tremble in agony and despite she hated hearing those bitterly words from him, she couldn't make a voice to stop him today. It felt like her tongue had been tied up together. That made her hate herself even more.

She stayed mute with eyes closed and both fists clenched together that she didn't realize that her long nails were digging inside her flash tightly. All part of her wanted to put all blame for her misery on Vinay who had led her into this situation but somewhere, she knew it was her to blame this for. She had brought this upon her, only if she had closed her mouth rather than bashing on Rudra, then she couldn't had fallen in this terrible situation on the first place.

A thunder again roared up again and then silence surrounded everywhere. She couldn't hear anything expect her shivering breathe. "Dhwani?" Unexpectedly, his voice suddenly turned like cascading waterfall for her. She was greeted by his soulful hazel eyes when Dhwani had opened her eyes.

It wouldn't be lie if someone will say that Rudra Singhania can change his emotions in 000.1 second because the man in front of her wasn't the one who had dragged her harshly out of his room all the way just to spat the poisonous words that were nothing but a bitter true slap on her face.

Rudra took one step closer towards her and noticed her stepping back from him. He had reached out his hand just for her to realize that her palm was now bleeding because of her assault of digging her nails in them tightly. Even though her palm was starting to ache but she didn't waste a second to snatch her hand away from his hold, even if his hazel eyes flashed with a glint of hurt in them.

"You are toxic, Rudra Singhania," Dhwani muttered. Rudra knew he went overboard. It was the egoistic anger in him that led him to do that but he fell silent when he realized that his words were hurting her. A feeling of guilt erupted in him, a feeling that he never wanted to feel.

For God's sake, he was Rudra Singhania! A man raised up to take lives of innocents, evils or much worse. It didn't mattered, nothing mattered and still he never experienced a feeling of guilt even after committing forbidden crimes but seeing the woman trembling in front of him in fear because of him had made his heart ached. Why? He had no answers to it.

"Fuck!" He yelled and before he could know, his fist raised up and punched the wall nearby, leaving his own bone bruised and bleed. Dhwani was gone, long gone away from him.
