"Where?" Dhruvika cluelessly asked, seeing him opening the driver's door side. The disappointment she had with him was gone by now just seeing coming for... her. Black eyes stared back at her for a brief moment and then gazed towards the huge mansion of Chauhans, built by her father's hard work and dedication with the help of his wife Anvesha.

At times Avyaan found himself admiring that man who aged like a fine red wine. Karthik Chauhan was a man of few words but intellectual and intriguing, maybe that was the reason he respected his father-in-law more than he did with Jairaj. He never had respect for Jairaj though was a different thing. None of the brothers had.

Dhruvika also followed his gaze and saw her mother standing there with a huge smile and waving at the couple. Avyaan too raised his hand in the air before waving towards his mother-in-law. Dhruvika had done the same yet had given a flying kiss to her mother.

"You didn't answer my question. Where are we going?" buckling her seatbelt, repeated her question only to hear a huff in response.

"We are going to the temple. Simple and now happy," told Avyaan, after getting annoyed with her. That was one problem of Avyaan, he got angry and annoyed shortly at the creatures who had the ability to speak.

She couldn't help the smile forming on her lips. Her husband was in such a mood at times, just that thought had always wanted her to laugh aloud. Dhruvika turned on the radio station as Mast Magan from the movie of 'Two States' played on, whilst she was enjoying the song with eyes closed as if feeling the song with all the emotions when it was harshly turned off by Avyaan.

"What the hey--" her words were cut off by Avyaan while she saw those black eyes glaring at her.

"I don't want to listen to that ugly song," she swiveled her nose in disgust at his words. This man was declaring all her favourite songs ugly, whilst Dhruvika had a special place for music. No matter how she was going to fight with him to prove what music meant yet she knew that this stubborn lawyer was not going to change and neither was she that no song was ugly.

Avyaan on the other hand was grateful that at least now she had decided to shut up with engrossing herself in reading some novel.

Dhruvika decided to slip into another world when she took out the novel. The novel was the love of her life after Avyaan, of course. She remembers how her brother had teased her for having a room that was stocked up with books and only books. Maybe that was one thing she had inherited from their mother.

A groan of frustration slipped from her mouth as she realised that the car had come to a halt as she looked up to find themselves in front of the same temple of the Singhania ancestors worshipped and served in for centuries and centuries.

"Tanisha maa had told us not to?" hesitated Dhruvika, knowing how hot-tempered lady was her mother-in-law when someone decided to disobey her.

"Trust me," he said and those brown pair of eyes glittered up and she did as he said and started walking with him. For the first time, there was no guard following them and she was thankful for that because it at times managed to catch more attention than needed.

But people were still staring at the tall guy in the dark blue tuxedo walking as if he owned everything in the world and the girl in a flared skirt and white top that went with her denim jacket.

"Mother?" Avyaan called Tanisha upon noticing that woman and Tanisha looked at him with fury but didn't say anything. "I missed, mother. Why didn't you inform me about your visit to the temple, I will never say no to you, would I?" Avyaan kissed his mother's forehead as he honeyed his voice.

"I'm sorry, Avy. I thought you were busy with your work," Tanisha spoke in the same voice as Avyaan. He smirked at everyone which didn't go unnoticed by Dhruvika.
