"God! He is perfect!"
Dhwani heard the feminine voice of her colleague exclaiming but her eyes dared her to not look away from the masculine upper naked body of the man dancing in front of her. Ghungroos in his feet as he swayed himself on the classical beat of the song and everyone cheered for him.
"Dhwani?" He passed her a dimply smile and walked towards her with a towel around his neck. "It's been so long to see you here and you are..." He stopped his words when she nodded.
"Mrs Singh thinks that you two make the best pair in the classical dance, Dhwani. Just see the pictures," Disha stepped between them with a newspaper article in her hand and passed it to Dhwani in which she could see her and Sofian's picture. She was dressed in one of the traditional dress and same for Sofian. Dhwani remembered that picture captured at one of the concert about one year ago.
"He looks at like he likes you so much-"
"Disha will you stop." Dhwani had Sofian saying and Disha pouted. Sofian sat next to Dhwani, pulling the chair more closer to her to look at the article in her hand. "What brings you here?" Sofian asked, passing her yet another smile.
"I came here to meet Mrs Singh, Sofian. I'm taking a one year break from dancing," Dhwani informed, her lips returning the smile he had passed her awhile ago.
Sofian's eyes widened. "What? Why?"
"Because-"
"Because she doesn't want to see your face. It is haunting."
Her words were cut off by a deep sensual voice as Sofian turned wide eyes towards the man dressed black dress pants and black suit with sleeves rolled up till his elbows. "Dhwani?!" Sofian whispered, his voice lacing with disbelief.
"Ignore it. I am sure he did not mean it, Sofian," she chided with a kind small smile on her face.
"Is it true?"
"Of course not."
"Yes."
Awkwardness rushed in her veins as she glared at the tall man, standing in front of her and Sofian. "Nice to meet you after so long, Mr Singhania."
"Me too."
A tight-lipped smile forming on his lips as he chewed his inner lips. "Ahmm. . . Dhwani why don't you try to contact me after awhile? I have something to take care of," Sofian advised and Dhwani nodded. His dimply smile returning back as she watched him walking away towards Disha.
"I don't like him."
Dhwani heard his grumbling voice with disappointment. His hazel eyes fixed with Sofian with a hard glare, Dhwani noticed and shook her head. "Why are you here?" She asked, walking outside of the studio.
His eyebrow raised in a cocky manner as he followed her behind. "Why am I here? What do you mean by that?" He asked when she settled in his car while banging the door shut loudly and he winched. His hand raised to fasten her seatbealt. "You seemed to shoot glares at Sofian as if you were going to bury him alive."
"Wouldn't be a surprise if he dies one day for touching my wife," he grumbled and Dhwani whisked her head away from his eyes to hide the smile on her face.
"Rudra." She couldn't help but smile like a fool when she saw him stopping the car in front of their bungalow. Dhwani stepped out of the black SUV and her chilling air of the cold night in Jaipur had hit Dhwani's skin that it made her clench to her shawl even more against her body when she felt something more warm on her as he wrapped his tux around her and pulled her gently by her waist.
