"He is hot!"

"No! Jay is crazy hot!"

"Duh!"

Dhruvika tried to ignore the voices that got around the kitchen of the restaurant like nothing else existed in the world. Her eyes glued to dishes in front of her. "Dhruvika! Just look at the pictures of Jay Thakhur. Isn't he so hot?" It was Riccha who had asked since Dhruvika could point out the chirpy and over-exicted voice even in her sleep. This wasn't getting anywhere good, she knew that by the start.

Dhruvika let out a hum in response without even glancing up at the girl in front of her. "What? You are not even looking at his picture," she complained.

"I'm busy Riccha."

"He looks so much of a prince."

At the mention of the last word, her heart had fluttered. Prince. She closed her eyes. She wasn't going to let that thought ruin the dish she was preparing, she determined. As the owner and chef of the five-star restaurant, she for once thought that she was too lenient on her workers.

"Riccha, I'm not going to remained you again that you should now return to your work as your break as been over in five seconds," she spoke with seriousness in them that it was a surprise to Riccha because five seconds ago, she was a soft person.

"Yes boss!" Riccha let out dramatically and leaving the kitchen towards the counter. Only when she had left, Dhruvika then released a breath just for another waitress to barge in.

"Dhruvika we got a problem." Her head snapped upwards at the words. Looking at the petty girl with a confused look. "Isn't Chantal supposed to handle the problem?"

"Ahmmm. . . Chantal is the problem, Dhruvika," she informed, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. Dhruvika's eyes widened. Chantal was the manager of her restaurant and was supposed to solve problems and not be the problem. Dhruvika slightly peaked through the door of the heated and noisy kitchen as cheifs worked on the meal and she noticed the customers, some in casual and some in expensive suits and dresses but what caught her eye was the Rotuman woman standing at corner of the restaurant but with two couples rashing on the fair skinned and dark straight head of a woman.

Taking off her apron from herself, Dhruvika walked towards the three. "Excuse me? Can I know what is the matter?" she asked, trying to be polite as she could.

"I want to meet the owner," the girl in the blue gown shrieked.

"I'm the owner," Dhruvika declared with her head raised. The couple looked at her way in surprise. Dhruvika's eyes went up to Chantal's teary-eyed face. She looked on the verge of heartbreaking.

"The owner of this five-star elegant restaurant is a woman?!"

It was the man beside the girl who exclaimed with eyes-wide. Dhruvika sighed. Misogyny still was very much present in the society even after five years, wasn't it?

"On a good note, yes!"

The man laughed slightly, his fingers running through his hair as he asked with narrow eyes, "So for whom have you been opening your legs, woman?" Fury burned through Dhruvika's chest that she wished for throwing coffee at the rich spoiled brat in front of her but she kept her calm. She could hear Chantal gasping at the man's inappropriate words.
