"Avyaan?" Dhruvika's voice trembled in horror. Her heart had raced up... it was getting hard for her to breathe when Avyaan gripped her by her wrist tightly. His grip on the dagger was firm when Avyaan trailed it up from her left arm to her neck.
Dhruvika forced her eyes open. The room was filled with pitch silence as much that she could hear her racing heartbeats drumming in her ear which meant that she was not dead.
She was not dead!
Dhruvika repeated in her mind before sitting straight on the bed. It was not a dream, Avyaan certainly tried to kill and bruise of his tight grip on her wrist was evident of it. Confusion lingering in her mind when she looked at her surrounding. The last she could remember, she was in the car with her husband who had frightened her soul to death and not in a white interiored master huge bedroom.
Removing the blanket up from her body, Dhruvika decided to make her way out. There were three doors in the bedroom, one the way that lead outside of the bedroom and second leading inside the bathroom and the third that lead outside to the backyard as Dhruvika saw from the window.
She decided to use the third door and opened the door before hissing out a sigh when the cold air of the night passed by her, making her wrap her arms around petite figure.
"Such a sane way to die from hypothermia," the known voice made through her ear. "Where is this cold place?" Not leaving her gaze away from the dark sky, Dhruvika questioned.
"You collapsed!" Avyaan exclaimed shallowly rather than answering her question. "You nearly tried killed me!" She let out. If looks could kill, then Avyaan was sure he would be probably lying lifeless on the floor by those small eyes that were blaring fire.
"I didn't tried to kill you... I pretended to kill you," he moved forward and Dhruvika backed. She still remembered what he did and the nightmare that she had awhile ago was keeping her mind fresh of that event. "Stay away from me."
Much to her dismay, Avyaan was in her personal space. Towering over her 5'5 height with his one hand placed on the door seal which Dhruvika hadn't realized she was gripping to lean her body back from his dark gaze. His lips just an inch or two away from hers but he titled his face, stopping by her ear and letting his hot breath fan her neck.
The cold that had greeted her which had send chills down her spine seemed to be long gone by the man on top of her. "As much as I hate myself saying this but get inside the fucking room before I make you lose your virginity over here and..." his eyebrow raised up as he leaned his head even more closer.
"-and I'll do that very well," he ended. She immediately pushed him away from herself before she stepped inside the room. "You are cruel," wide eyed, she glared at him. Avyaan leaned over the door before folding his arms across his chest.
"Nah... I'm worse."
Her nose scrunched at his words before she settled herself on the couch and Avyaan slammed beside, his hand carried a cup that he had brought with himself and had placed on the nightstand. She saw him passing her the cup that consisted of cinnamon tea. "Have it..." he ordered but Dhruvika refused. All she wanted was to be left alone.
His shoulders shrugged over before Avyaan gulped the tea down by himself. Her eyes narrowed at him. "You are such a darling husband," stated Dhruvika. "Thanks." Avyaan muttered. It seemed that he couldn't pin out the sarcasm in her word, she concluded. Sighing, Dhruvika leaned her head over the headset of the couch, her black hair covering her face. She could feel him standing and walking.
