Not only had I been stuck with my sister all day having not made any friends at all but some jerk threw a juice box at my head. What idiot does that?! So I rightly so stormed over to the table and questioned the loser about it. Turns out he's just an overly nervous nerd who is obviously terrified of his every move. Me and Freya ended up sitting next to them at lunch and we had quite a good conversation. I mean Sam the weirdo that threw a juice box at me, is quite stupid, he likes playing the guitar and all that dumb stuff. Harvey quite obviously has the hots for Freya and Charlie, well, the only female attention he's ever received is clearly from his mom.
As I was talking I couldn't help but notice Sam playing with his fingers under the table.
"Don't pick your fingers Samuel it'll scar" I scoffed turning back to my conversation. Me and Charlie were talking the most and it took everything I had in me not to point out Harvey's obsession with my sister. He threw little compliments at her every five seconds.
Oh I like your hair Freya! Oh Freya what a cute headband! Freya you're so funny! Freya you have nice eyes! Honestly if I hear my sisters name again I'm going to jump out of the window."Why don't you speak Samuel?" I asked.
"Don't call me Samuel" he said weirdly calm.
"That's your name isn't it?" I said.
"Well yes but sams fine" he responded.
"Whatever Samuel" I huffed turning back to talk to Charlie as Sam rolled his eyes at me.Me and Charlie were just discussing the latest true crime show on Netflix but it seemed like he was just pretending to know what I was on about when my dad rang me. Well FaceTimed me.
"Who is it?" Freya asked.
"Dad" I responded holding the phone up to both of us.
"Hi girls!" He said down the phone but the screen was black.
"Peter it's a FaceTime key work face" I heard my mom say to him in the background. Eventually he figured out how to get his face on the camera.
"Aw look there's my Petty girls! Are you having fun?" He asked.
"Yeah dad loads" I grinned but Freya just smiled.
"Freya are you okay do you want me to come get you?" He asked.
"No dad I'm fine" she smiled.
I accidentally dropped my phone on the table exposing Sam, Harvey and Charlie.
"Oh my god who are those boys?!" He gasped.
"No one dad love you bye" I rushed blowing him a kiss.
"Wait wait wait just let me give them the dad tal-" he tried but he got cut off by the call ending.
"So now you've met our dad" I chuckled to the boys.
"He seems cool" Charlie said.
"Why don't you call your dad then we're equal" I suggested.
"Oh no he's probably busy" he replied.
"Oh come on you're just saying that cause you know he's gonna be surprised you're even talking to a girl" I joked. Charlie huffed before pulling out his phone."Hi dad" he smiled.
"Hi Charles" his dad responded. Pfft Charles
"Dad don't call me that" Charlie said giving his dad a look that felt like code. I then shoved my face in the camera.
"Hi Charlie's dad!" I said excitedly.
"Oh my god is that a girl?!" His dad gasped.
"Babe! Charlie's with a girl" his dad continued to shout at his mom. This is too good.
"Okay bye dad" Charlie said clearly embarrassed as I laughed at him lightly punching his shoulder as he laughed with me.
