I watched Sam slowly lower his arm for some reason I felt like it would've been better if sam had been Romeo.
"Great Charlie come to the front" the teacher smiled as he joined me.
"Now as you know Romeo isn't supposed to be with Juliet, she is supposed to Marry Paris and in this scene Paris and Romeo fight over her so we need someone to be Paris" the teacher explained. Sam didn't put up his hand but the teacher picked him anyway, probably because no one else raised their hand and he was at the front.
"Sam! I could see you were eager before come up to the front" she smiled. I saw Sam panic. I softly smiled at him. Not to be nice or anything just cause I felt bad. He ignored me and stood on the other side of me.

"Now guys do the scene how you think it goes first and then we'll do the actual one, I want to see how much you know already" the teacher explained. I knew none of them had read Romeo and Juliet but I knew The whole story. Freya can read really well and when I couldn't sleep when I was younger she used to read it to me.
"Charlie you start" I whispered to him.
"Oh uh. Hi Paris" he said sheepishly. I rolled my eyes.
"Hello Romeo what're you doing with my bride?" Sam asked surprisingly confident.
"She loves me" Charlie said sounding slightly too in character.
"No she doesn't" Sam scoffed.
"And how exactly do you know that?" Charlie challenged.
"Because she loves me" Sam retorted.
"You think she's going to love you because her parents like you?" Charlie smirked. Suddenly Sam looked genuinely angry.
"And you think she loves you because you bought her a pathetic necklace!" He yelled.

Even the teacher looked confused.
"Sam I think Romeo actually gave her a bracelet but you're almost there well done guys sit down" the teacher said ushering us back to our seats. I saw Charlie glare at Sam as Sam avoided eye contact.

That didn't sound much like acting.
