I don't know what came over me, what made me want to hold Harvey's hand but I did. And it felt amazing. I felt safe with him and he made me so happy. Eventually we stopped at a hill and he sat down so I joined him. I rested my head on his shoulder and he leaned his head against mine. He was so warm and comfy I could've fallen asleep on him. I didn't even know where we were but I wasn't worried.
We sat in a comfortable silence as he stroked my cold knuckles with his cold hands warming them up for me.
"You're cold" he said looking down at me.
"A little" I shrugged. He slowly lifted my head off of his shoulder as he took off his hoodie and handed it to me.
"No Harvey that's okay you don't need to" I chuckled as he playfully rolled his eyes shoving the hoodie over my head and pulling my arms through the arm holes.
"Better?" He asked as I nodded.
"Thank you" I smiled.
"It's okay" he replied letting me lay in his lap as we looked at the pretty hilltop view."So what's happening with Charlie and my sister?" I asked playing with my hoodie strings.
"Well he likes her that's for sure" he replied.
"Obviously" we laughed.
"I think he's thinking about asking her to the dance" he continued.
"I probably won't find out till after the dance Isabelle doesn't tell me things like that" I said.
"Don't worry I'll tell you as soon as I know" he replied stroking my hair.
"And what's the deal with Sam" I asked.
"Well he's obviously head over heels for her as well" he chuckled.
"Wow my sister really must be beautiful" I laughed.
"Not as beautiful as you" he smiled down at me and I couldn't help but return the smile. There was another silence for a while as we enjoyed each others company.
"Freya" he said breaking it.
"Yeah?" I said still looking at the view.
"I really like you" he said and I could hear the smile in his voice.
"Aw I really like you too harvey" I smiled up at him.
"Do you wanna maybe be my girlfriend?" He asked. And In that moment it was as if grades didn't exist like school wasn't about learning like he was more important than it all.
