"A school dance how cool!" I said excitedly. I watched as Charlie stared at the sign with his mouth slightly ajar.
"Do you wanna close your mouth I'm scared a fly might get in" I joked pushing his jaw shut.
"Oh haha" he laughed nervously rubbing his arm. Weird."Come on we should meet up with Freya and Harvey in the cafeteria" I said leading the two gormless boys behind me. Once we got to the
Cafeteria I saw max Harvey and Freya sat at our usual table. I slumped down next to Sam as Charlie sat in front of me."So did you guys hear about the school dance?" I asked.
"Yeah" max said not taking his eyes off of Freya. I saw Harvey's eyes light up, I could see his plans to ask Freya form in his eyes.
"Yeah there's signs everywhere" I explained.
"Are we all going to go?" Harvey asked everyone.
"Obviously" Charlie scoffed.
I just ate my pizza wondering if anyone was going to ask me to the dance. I'd be fine if not but I was curious. It would be nice to have someone to dance with.Suddenly I knocked my drink over the table.
"Oh god!" I gasped standing as the liquid dripped over the table.
"I'll get napkins" Charlie said standing. I noticed the juice got all over his open bag so whilst he went to get napkins I decided to get all of the wet things out of his bag so I could try and dry them. I pulled out a few work books when I saw a small box. It was now wet but I held it in my hand debating weather or not to open it.I slowly lifted the lid to see the most beautiful necklace inside. It matched all of my outfits, but it had a small love heart on the end. For some strange reason I felt a little jealous. Who was this for? It was probably for another girl.
"Isabelle put that back don't go through his stuff" Freya scolded as I shut the box and threw it back into his bag not bothering to dry it.
"Yeah sorry I just got distracted" I muttered.
