I sat at the table in English class waiting for it to start listening to music in my earphones. That was when Isabelle came rushing in. I hate to admit it but she looked cute. She was wearing a pink striped long sleeved shirt with a denim skirt and pink doc Martin boots. Her hair was clearly rushed and thrown into a pony tail. I hate that I find that cute. She came and aggresivley slumped herself into the seat next to me so hard that the desk moved slightly. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her. Time to force the facade again.
"Do you need to be so obnoxious?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Shut up shakey guess what!" She said grinning.
"I'm not guessing" I said.
"It's a figure of speech" she scoffed.
"Anyway I have a date to the dance" she smiled. Her words took me aback so much that I couldn't even think of a snarky comment to make. My eyes widened and I had to turn away before she caught on to my obvious jealousy.
Once I gathered myself I turned back to her.
"Who?" I asked.
"Charlie!" She squealed.
"Lucky him" I said trying my best to sound sarcastic.
"He is lucky actually. Have you seen me?" She remarked. Yes I can't stop thinking about you.
"No I tend not to pay attention to you" I smirked knowing I just got on her last nerve.
"Shut up shakey before I nominate you for class president" she smirked back knowing I didn't know if she was being serious or not.
I just rolled my eyes and turned to the front of the classroom resting my head on my hand.Class started and the teacher explained that we would be rein acting a scene from Romeo and Juliet. What is this theatre?
"Who wants to be Juliet?" She asked. I saw Isabelle raise her hand quickly.
"Great Isabelle come on up" she said as Isabelle quickly shot up to the front.
"And who wants to play Romeo?" She asked. For some stupid reason I put my hand up and so did Charlie. Like I could ever speak in front of the whole class. Charlie furrowed his eyebrows at me. I gulped and slowly lowered my hand. What was I thinking she doesn't even like me.
