"This was on the floor this morning. It's for you."

Regulus still hated sharing a room. A week had passed since he had seen James Potter, and yet that was the name written on the letter in his lap.

Regulus paid no attention to his three roommates as they shuffled around his bed getting ready for the morning. Regulus, still wrapped in his blankets, slowly unfolded the letter and tilted it towards the beam of sunlight that cracked through his curtains so he could read it better.

Regulus Black,

The quidditch pitch, after breakfast, no questions asked.
Please.
Thank you.

James Potter

Regulus tried to hold back his laugh but a giggle slipped out anyways. His dorm mates turned to look at him once but when he caught their eyes once, they never turned towards him till they were running out of the room and shutting it behind them.

"Quidditch pitch. After breakfast," Regulus mocked James' request in a high pitched voice. It seemed ridiculous to have received a letter from his older brothers friend purely out of concern for problem his older brother refused to talk to him about. Therefore, it just simply was not Regulus' problem. He pushed his sheets off his body and flung his legs over the side of his bed. With a heavy sigh he crumpled the parchment beside him.

"No questions asked- I mean what the hell," he grumbled fully sliding off the bed as he shuffled his way around for his clothes. He clutched his black slacks in his hands and then he dropped them. "Nope," he whispered to himself as he ripped the sheet up from the bed and climbed in under them," just not gonna go."

Regulus closed his eyes and took a deep breathe. He exhaled and then once again inhaled deeply. This time he released his breathe slowly and calmly as he snuggled further into his bed. He reached down to tuck the blanket under his feet and then gripped the edges in his fist and brought it all the way up to his chin. He sighed deep and heavy and his whole body sunk into the bed as he let himself relax. Focusing only on the soft plush under his head and the silk sheets in his skin, Regulus' breathing slowed and his eyes now feeling to heavy to even try to open. The air was still and for a few moments the room was completely silent, and Regulus fell asleep.

But it was no less than an hour when Regulus was forced to awake again.

"Regulus come on man," it was Lucius and his repetitive knocking into Regulus' head that ruined his plans to sleep away the entire day.

The knocking did not stop till Regulus screamed out," Alright!" And launched himself aggressively out of bed. Lucius knew what was coming when Regulus swung open the door to this dorm room, he was standing far off against the wall to the left. Regulus' head snapped into the hallway and he stared intensely at Lucius who looked at him with wide eyes and a head hung low.

"What could you possible need?" Regulus asked exasperated and before the blond could respond he added," and what time is it?"

Lucius straightened his posture and his face reverted to its natural downward snare and he  crossed his arms at the young boy. "Regulus its almost 9, you completely missed breakfast and your cousin sent me to check on you. I've been standing out here for twenty minutes how could have not heard me?!"

Regulus hadn't had a peaceful night sleep in his bed in weeks, and for just a few minutes he got to rest in the peace of his room. He still wished he was sleeping more.

"You should head to the kitchen," Lucius shook his head as he began to turn from Regulus," just tell them you missed breakfast, I'm sure they'll give you something. They were clearing the tables late today."
