"How many times are you gonna watch that thing?" Kelvin inquired as he entered the room and noticed Desmond watching the Orientation Film. He was always watching the dammed thing. Kelvin wasn't sure what kinds of answers his new roommate expected to glean through watching the film over and over again, as the film was frustratingly vague. Kelvin thought about how confused this Scottish bloke must be, but there was nothing else he could do. He had told Desmond all he knew about saving the world in this place they now called home. Well, almost everything.

The two men had Radzinsky to thank for editing the tape. Kelvin could only assume that there were things his former partner didn't want him to ever find out. That crazy bastard! So when Desmond asked about the film's missing parts, Kelvin glanced up at the dried blood stain on the ceiling that was Radzinsky and dismissed the question. Instead, Kelvin sauntered over to the bookshelf and pulled out what appeared to be a DVD player. He then disappeared into the pantry. Intrigued, Desmond stood up and wandered over to find his new roommate fumbling with the shelves, trying to move them aside. "Need a hand, brother?" Desmond offered, yielding a frightened shriek from the older man as he jumped about a foot in the air. "I didn't see you there, Des! You scared the shit out of me!" Desmond giggled and the two men successfully moved the shelf aside, revealing a rinky-dink television set atop a small stand on wheels.

"You have a television?" Desmond asked. Kelvin shook his head in disappointment. "It doesn't have any channels," he began, "and the only thing it can do is play a DVD." Kelvin and Desmond rolled the TV out into the living room area and set it up in front of the couch. "Well, what can it play, then?" Desmond asked his partner. A grin slowly spread across Kelvin's face as he held up a DVD movie called The Adventures of Food Boy. "So much better than that silly Orientation Film, I promise."
