Chapter 5

First week in the police and Moira already solved 7 cases. She seemed not to rush on Nikki. She can always find him by herself. But there was something she was missing and she knew it. It was driving her crazy. But not crazy enough to engulf all of her thoughts. Meanwhile, Vince kind of started liking her. But she wasn't up for that. She respected him as a leader of her patrol. But when he would get drunk he could be a mess. He would say to Moira how much he loved her and she would simply ignore his drunk words. She knew he'd remember nothing the next day. But this evening they're both drunk.

"Moira, tell me something. Why are you ignoring me?"
"Man, you're like kind of a brother for me. Like a bigger brother who's there for me, okay? If you become my lover, I'm gonna lose the only brother I have. I'm sorry that I'm hurting your feelings, but it's impossible to be together."
"Alright. One last thing. At least can you give me a kiss?"
"You're gonna kiss me when you're sober and when I convince the old man for the big case."
"Okay. I'm gonna write that down my sticky notes so I'm gonna have evidence of your words."
"As you wish, Vinny."
"Oh, that sounds sweet can you repeat it?"
"Vinny, you're my buddy."
"And you're my sweet little sister."

They got out of the bar and walked down the street singing. They were so drunk they couldn't drive. They reached the police station and spent the night in Vince's cabinet. He laid down the table and Moira laid on top of him. They were sleeping so deep they didn't hear when Mick entered the room and saw them sleeping. He was slightly mad at first but then he remembered what Moira's father had told him. They knew each other since college and Mick really had cared about him. At least he had to help his friend's daughter.
"Mick, I'm 100% sure my dear daughter Moira will be a detective in your police station. Don't allow her to feel lonely and please find her coworker who she can trust. She has trust issues since a child and it's really hard for her to be around people she can't trust."
"Don't worry my friend. I got you covered."
At least, she trusts him. She would never let herself lie on top of a man without having trust in him.

Morning came fast. Moira woke up with a bad headache and loss of memories. When she saw Vince underneath her, she immediately got up. Vince woke up with pain in his back and headache as well.
"Did you sleep on top of me?"
"Did you fuck me?"
"Hahahahaha, ok that was funny. But even drunk I would never do that without your permission, but it would be really interesting if we actually did though."
"Oh shut up, you silly. I mean, Vince."
"Ah man, I loved that nickname you gave me."
"Nickname?"
"You don't remember?"
"Oohh, Vinny."
"Yes, that one. Also, I still keep my sticky note."
"Sticky note?"
"You really don't remember anything, do you?"
"I'm sorry. Everything is cloudy in my head."
"Look at this, you even put your autograph so it's verified."
"Well, actually I meant that."
"Really?"
"I meant that you're like my brother."
"Oh, right."
"But since I put my autograph on this note I guess I have to do what it's said."
"It's okay if you don't want to."
"Nah, I want. Otherwise, it won't be interesting."

Meanwhile, Nikki Sixx was with yet another woman. As a drug dealer he could afford every woman he wanted, as long as they liked drugs. But when they didn't he would kill them. This woman on the other hand was lucky enough to catch him in a good mood. Diana walked in Nikki's room, playing with her brown curly hair. When Nikki saw her, he grabbed her hand and led her to the big bed at the center of the room. Nikki said:
"I don't do drugs anymore, but sometimes it's interesting to watch the ladies do them instead."
"I don't do drugs." If Nikki was pissed off he would kill her in her sleep with a gun and a pillow. But he wasn't.
"Oh, then we're just gonna make sweet love until I hear you scream my name, darling."
"Oh, but there's one thing. I'm a virgin."
"Oh God, then I'm gonna be gentle." He had a reason not to kill her. Even if he was mad, he would never let himself kill a woman who has lost her virginity to him.
"I love you."
"I love you too." So sadly it wasn't true, but he kind of felt attached to her so the lie was cut in half. Maybe he will stay with her for a bit longer than expected.
