Tommy and Moira were talking about Stacey when Nikki peered from the door.
"Sorry for interrupting your conversation, may I talk with Moira alone?" Moira looked at his face with frustration.
"I'll be in my room if you want to talk more after your conversation." Tommy said.
"Okay." Tommy made his way to the door, while Nikki entered the room approaching Moira.
"Are you okay?" Nikki asked but Moira turned her back on him.
"I know you probably don't want to talk to me. It's okay. But I want you know that I'm so sorry for what happened yesterday. I was out of my mind. When you called me Frankie my childhood engulfed reality and I thought I was holding my mother. Maybe I wanted to kill her for what she'd done. Then decided to choke the shit outta her. But it ended up choking you instead. When I realized what I've done, I got really scared. I could have literally killed you. I swore on my life that I'd never do that, but... I-I really messed up. Maybe you won't forgive such deed. And it's okay if you don't forgive me. I deserve it. But... If you say you don't love me anymore, it's gonna be the end of me. I love you, Moira."
"Nikki, I don't want to break your heart even more, so please, leave me alone. I need time to find out if I still have feelings for you or you killed them instead of killing me."
"I'll be downstairs."

Nikki sat on the couch burying his head in his palms. He knew he made the biggest mistake of his life and that was killing him. As yet another tears rolled down his reddened face, he laid down the couch. He brought his knees to his chest and prayed for Moira to love him still. Meanwhile, Moira was walking around the room thinking about the arrest instead of her feelings. Then she went to Tommy's room.
"Hey Tommy, do you know that if you help me arrest Nikki, your sentence could be reduced?"
"Really?"
"Well, depends on the crimes you've done. But yes, there could be any reduce."
"Since I want to see him in jail, I will help you."
"The thing I want you to do is look at the window when it gets dark. They said they would be here by 9pm."
"And when they're here how am I supposed to tell you?"
"You're gonna scratch your scalp seven times."
"Got it. By the way, did he try to hurt you when I left?"
"He apologized. Then I told him I needed time."
"I still can't believe how he tried to kill you."
"I unlocked the memory of his mother by calling him Frankie. No wonder why he freaked out on your wedding."
"What is he doing now?"
"He's downstairs."
"Do you still love him?"
"I wish I didn't."
"Maybe you should check on him. He's probably crying like a fucking baby."

Moira went downstairs and saw Nikki's body curled into a sobbing ball. She was about to go back upstairs when she felt a lump in her throat. She couldn't leave him crying just like that. But the more she stared at him, the more the guilt was growing inside. She felt guilty for loving him. All of a sudden, Nikki got quiet. Moira thought he was probably trying to get some sleep so she stepped on her toes and approached the couch slowly. He was asleep. Then Moira looked around for a blanket. When she found one, she went to him and covered his curled body with it. She was about to leave when all of a sudden Nikki started whimpering in his sleep. She kneeled down next to him and whispered:
"It's okay. I'm here." She put her hand on his head and kissed his forehead. Nikki opened his eyes slowly and felt Moira's hand on his face.
"Hey Sixx."
"Moira? I-"
"Shh it's okay." She said as she grabbed his arms and helped him get up. Then she sat next to him and put his head on her lap caressing his face.

"Moira, may I ask you something?"
"Go on."
"Can you love me still? Maybe if I know that someone cares for me I'd be better."
"I can't unlove you. But I can't forgive you either."
"I'm not asking you to. I don't want forgiveness."
"But how can I love you this way?"
"I know you, Moira. You can."
"I wish it was easier for us."
"But hey, it could be worse than that, don't you think? I could have killed you."
"Maybe you should have done this."
"No, don't talk like that, Moira." He suddenly got up.
"But you're a fucking murderer for God's sake."
"I can't kill people who I give a fuck about. If I killed you, I would kill myself afterwards. You're my life, remember? If you don't live, why should I?"
"Nikki, don't."
"You know what's worse than that? Knowing that I can't live without you but you can live without me."
"For God's sake, stop talking like that." She hugged him.

"I love you, Moira."
"I love you too."
"I wish this love could last forever."
"I wish we could be together."
"What if we can?"
"What?"
"Let's run away from here. We can change our ID's and go wherever we want to."
"But Nikki, I can't."
"Why? Don't you love me?"
"I do, but running away from the police, that's insane. I'm a fucking detective, remember?"
"Fuck that. We can fake our death and run away from here."
"Sounds somewhat romantic and intriguing, but I just... No." Moira got up and ran upstairs Nikki following her. When Moira got in the room, Nikki pulled her hand and smashed his lips against hers. His tongue entered her mouth almost immediately. Then he laid her down the bed pushing his hand under her pants.
