"Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, have you reached a verdict?" The judge asked the group of people on whose decision Nikki's life depended.
"May we ask for more time, your Honor?"
"Again? Alright, I'll let you decide. The meeting is adjourned until tomorrow. And this time ladies and gentlemen you have to decide. We can't drag this case on forever." As Moira heard these words for the third time this week, she got worried even more. Nikki looked around a bit and saw her pale face amongst the sea of people in the court. Then she raised her head towards him for she felt his eyes staring at her. She saw his frustrated expression and sighed. He wanted to go to her but the policemen grabbed his shoulders and tried to stop him.

When Nikki got back his cell, he sat on the bed and grabbed his hair in anger mixed with sadness. Even fear got in the way. No one could get him away this time and that was killing him. Meanwhile, Moira was in her room reading her mother's diary. Since she found out about her mother's friendship with Deana, she got more curious about her mother's life. Trips, friendships, dreams, fears, all the things you can find in a diary. When Moira read it all, she put the diary on the shelf and sighed in despair. She was alone in her big house full of memories. Then she grabbed the family album and rested her eyes on that fateful picture. All of a sudden, she got a call.

"Detective Adams, I'm constable Walsh from station number 3." A woman spoke with an ounce of admiration and excitement.
"Yes, constable Walsh?"
"I wanted to inform you about Mr. Sixx's refusal to cooperate with us." She changed the tone from excited to exhausted.
"What happened?"
"He doesn't want to eat, which is not more significant than the real reason I called. But since he was shouting your name I felt obliged to call you. He's bothering the other arrested. He's making a mess out of his prison cell. Throwing food at the constables. I was thinking if you could-"
"I appreciate your concern about the arrested in your station but-"
"Please detective, we need your help. He's like a monster."
"What is he doing now?"
"Shouting."
"And what is he shouting?"
"He's saying "why you had to lie to me fucking bitch". And it gets even louder."
"Alright, I'll be there in an hour."

As Moira entered the station she was welcomed by a blonde woman in an uniform.
"You must be constable Walsh."
"It's an honor to meet you, detective. I've heard about you so many times and I want to confess that you're an inspiration for all of us."
"Wow, I don't know what to say. Thank you."
"Now, let's see what we can do about that man." As they made their way to Nikki's cell, he saw his biggest enemy, yet the love of his life approaching.
"Since when he started acting like that?"
"Two hours ago."
"This son of a bitch. Don't worry, I got this." Constable Walsh unlocked the cell and handcuffed Nikki leading him and Moira to the interrogation room.
"You can talk with him for the time needed."
"I won't be slow, don't worry."

"Well, well, well, if that ain't my slut- OUCH, what was that for?" Nikki said while being interrupted by Moira's hard slap.
"First of all, I'm not your slut. And secondly, I ask the questions."
"No point of them, tomorrow's my sentence. Weren't you out of the case?" He teased causing Moira to kick his leg.
"Shut up. What the fuck is wrong with you? Stop ruining my reputation."
"Reputation? I'm ruining your reputation?"
"Yes, you are. Stop acting like a kid and be a man just once."
"Why you lied to me?"
"Don't."
"Why? Tell me."
"You killed my sister."
"John did it."
"Because of your command. Don't try to sneak out of the situation."
"I already told you I made a mistake." Moira got silent.
"I-I understand that you're having your own... life... I'm sorry for that circus I made here. I just... can't take it. I can't take the fact that you're gonna have a life without me in it."
"What about your one?"
"My one? It's like I have one. You put me in jail with no chance of escape."
"Wait, you're trying to say it's my fault you're here?"
"Of course."
"Well, excuse me that I'm a detective and I do my job properly. And besides, I didn't kill anyone."
"You indeed killed me."
"WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO PUT THE BLAME OF YOUR OWN DEEDS ON ME?"
"BECAUSE YOU'RE THE REASON BEHIND EVERY COMMITTED CRIME SINCE THE DAY WE MET."

"Your mother would have been really disappointed in you, Moira."
"What?"
"You heard me."
"Well, no wonder why your one didn't want you." Nikki widened his eyes at her words. Moira made her way to the door leaving Nikki staring at the wall completely frozen.
"Is everything okay? I heard shouting."
"It's okay. You can lead him to his cell. He zoned out really hard so I don't think he's going to cause any trouble."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome, have a nice evening." As Moira made her way to the car she saw Vince standing there.
"Vince? I-"
"It's okay, come here." He gave her a hug.
"Tell me something. Would my mom be disappointed in me if she was alive?"
"What? No way. Don't tell me this prick hurt you again."
"Let's not talk about him, shall we?"
"As you wish, my dear. Now let's get you back home. You need to wake up early tomorrow."
