Epilogue (pt. 1)

"I can't believe you're retiring, Mick. I'm going to miss you." Vince said as he the rest of the station were congratulating him on his retirement party.
"You still can come at my place, constable Neil... Or should I say inspector Neil." All of a sudden everyone gasped, including Vince.
"Wait, what?"
"You're going to replace me. I knew since the beginning that you're the perfect who's going to take my cabinet one day."
"I-I don't know what to say. I'm honored." Vince gave the old inspector a hug.
"Alright, alright. Now I'm out of here. It was great to work with all of you. And also... Moira, I heard you're going on vacation with your husband."
"It's not a vacation, it's tour. But yeah, I'm gonna take a long break from the station."
"What tour?" Vince suddenly asked.
"Sixx AM are on tour this year."
"He made it? Wow... I still can't believe this motherfucker is in a band."
"You're still mad at him, aren't you?"
"Well... Not that much... But he's still a motherfucker..."
"Yet we got married last year."
"And thank God he didn't got mad at that wedding."
"He's another man now."
"Okay, okay. Give him my congratulations."
"I will."

Meanwhile, Nikki, DJ and James were rehearsing their songs from "The Heroin diaries".
"Hey Sixxter, we should make more albums in future." James suggested.
"Really?"
"Of course, just look how fast the tickets got sold. We're famous, dude." DJ added.
"I wonder what kind of fans we have."
"We'll see on the tour. By the way, is your wife coming?" James asked.
"Yes, she is. She's so excited to see us play live."
"She's amazing woman. You're the luckiest guy on this planet with her."
"Sure I am, DJ."
"What about the drums though? Is your friend up for a gig or two?" James remembered that night when he met Nikki's best friend, Tommy. No one, even Nikki, had an idea how good of a drummer he was.
"He's gonna be here in minutes-"
"What's up, dudes." Tommy appeared spinning his drumsticks like a marching band's drummer.
"Hey T-bone, I'm glad you're here."
"Are we ready to rock this place or what?"
"I still can't believe you're playing these drums so well." Maybe if Nikki knew it earlier they would have been in a band since decades.
"I still can't believe you're actually something more now than you were years ago. I like the new "Nikki"."
"Me too, T-bone, me too."
"Now guys, let's rehearse." James grabbed the mic, DJ - his guitar, Tommy took his seat behind the drum set, and Nikki took his bass as they started playing.

When Moira got home she saw Nikki watching TV while eating popcorns.
"Hey rockstar, how was rehearsal today?"
"It was great. Even Tommy joined and we sounded tight."
"Tommy? I haven't seen him since years, how is he doing?"
"He's fine. He has a girlfriend by the way."
"A girlfriend? Wow, he moved on. I'm glad to hear that."
"How was the retirement party?"
"Good."
"Who's gonna take Mick's place?"
"Vince."
"Vince? Wow, that's amazing."
"He's gonna be like Mick, I'm sure. Oh, he congratulates you on the success you've accomplished."
"Thanks. I hope he's doing great."
"Oh, he is."
"Oh, okay."
"Wait, you feel bad about the past?"
"I think he's still mad at me."
"Hey, you tried your best to change yourself and look where you are now."
"Yeah, but..."
"Look at me. You're really amazing. I love you. And I wouldn't change a thing if I could."

"Everything will be fine, trust me."
"Do you think the band is going to be successful?"
"The tickets got sold so fast. It's something rare for a new band out there."
"And the album sales are escalating too."
"You did it, Nikki. You're a rockstar now."
"Dream one is true since last year. Dream two got true when the album came out. Hmm, what dream is next?"

"Well, it depends on you too because I don't want to leave this place without having kids so-"
"Wait, you... Oh God... Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Suddenly Moira kissed Nikki and led him to the bedroom.

"I love you, Moira." Nikki breathed out as he and Moira were trying to catch their breath.
"I love you too, Nikki."
"You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm so lucky to have you."
"Remember that night I gave you two hundred dollars?"
"Hahahaha, wait, I haven't given them back."
"Hahahaha."
"Remember that night when you got drunk and hid behind a tree?"
"Hahahaha, I dropped my gun and you saw it."
"Hahaha yeah..."
"Remember that night when I arrested you?"
"Which arrest?"
"The first one?"
"When you hit me so hard I fell on the ground?"
"Hahahaha, exactly."
"The whole thing was so well planned I still can't proceed it."
"That was my first big plan I've ever come up with."

"Even though I did such a mess out of your life, you're still here. How?"

"What made you fall in love with me?"
"I don't know. But thank God. I don't know if I would be the woman I am today without you."
