Chapter 9: Stalker

"You think she's the daughter of the mafia boss?"

"Ooh, maybe SHE'S the boss," Mavy emphasized while eating a large bite of the ham sandwich my mom gave to them.

I groaned and sunk into the pillow.

"Girls, we're leaving in 10 minutes."

We heard Gab squeal and rushed to hug my leg.

"Aww, this cutie will finally join us?" Mavy bent her knees and ruffled Gab's hair who irritatingly throw daggers at her.

"He is." chirped Mom.

"I call the passenger seat!" 

"Is he even allowed to seat there?" Diana whispered to Mavy who only hooked her head.

That made the two of us seat on the back seat.

This trip happens every April and there was never a time where Dad has joined us, which is just a normal thing to us. What makes this even more fun is that Gab was here to join us! 

"Gabby, did you finally learn how to tie your shoelace?" Mavy teased while motioning the neat tying of Gab's shoelace.

"Um..."

"Of course! I reached him last night." I interrupted and secretly winked to Gab who only snickered and went back to playing games.

"Hey! I saw that!" Mom laughed while staring at me through the rearview mirror.

My head went to the two as I noticed them being silent, only to find out that Mavy was already passed out and leaning her head comfortably to Diane's shoulders.

I smiled happily at the two. I plugged my earphones into my phone and listened to the playlist I specifically prepared for this long trip. I drifted off to sleep with one thought in my head, Kevdin.

"Wakey wakey! We're here!"

My eyebrows scrunched annoyingly by the sudden shaking and squealing but it fades away when I was greeted with Gab's face of pure excitement.

"I am guessing that Diane and Mavy are already-" I lazily said but was interrupted by Gab.

"Yes! Now get up and let's go!"

I sighed and lazily left the car.

"Finally, you're awake!"

I confusedly looked at Mom who is busy arranging our bags.

"How long was I asleep?"

"It doesn't matter, how about we take a swim at the beach?" Mavy suddenly appeared from the bedroom with flustered Diane tailing behind her.

"Sure." I suspiciously looked a the two but gave them a mischievous smile.

"Mom, we'll go to the beach." I grabbed my bags and went inside in one of the few rooms to change into my swim attire, which is basically just shorts and a tank top.

"Alright, honey."

After changing for a few minutes, I went outside the room and went to the beach to see the two already getting on it.

"Ugh, get a room!"

They laughed and throw sand at my face. I grunted and throw back a handful to them.

"Bitch!" Mavy shouted and chased me until we are all at the water.

"Drown!"

"Yo, that's too far."
