"She did what?!" Mavy said in a hushed tone.
"She said that Alice just kissed her."
"She likes you?" Mavy gasped.
I simply nodded and continued to the assignment. We're currently staying at the library, which is often visited by people here.
"Aww." Mavy cooed and I weirdly look at her.
"What the hell, Mavy? I don't like her anymore. Besides, the girl is crazy! She even said something about Kevdin outing her in grade school."
They both gasped.
"But...she wasn't studying here that time?"
"See, she's lying." I scoffed and rolled my eyes at the thought of Alice.
"Jesus, so she's basically obsessed with you? That's...creepy." Diane said and sunk to the chair.
"I know." I suddenly got chills that things might get worse the next few days with Alice attending the same school.
"Hey, everyone."
Our head turned to Kevdin who came rushing to sit at the empty seat beside me.
"Hey." We greeted back that sounded so off that Kevdin noticed it.
"Something wrong?" She looked specifically to me.
"N-No, we were just talking about the project. It's a total bummer." I sighed and went back to the assignment I can't finish.
"Do you want me to help you?"
I heard Kevdin asked and her eyes were glued to the math equation I find hard.
"You know this?"
She just nodded and grabbed a piece of paper.
"This is just easy." She chuckled.
"Stop being cocky and help me then."
Kevdin looked at me with a look I cannot describe and smirked.
"We're going to the-"
"Yeah, don't even finish it, go."
"Where will they go?" Kevdin asked confusedly at the two who rushed outside the library.
"Probably the janitor's closet." I rolled my eyes.
"They're pretty wild." Kevdin chuckled.
She continued to help me answer the last question and the silence isn't awkward at all.
"There! You did it." She beamed and placed down the pencil.
"Hell no, you did it."
She laughed and stared at my eyes for a while.
"I wanna make it up to you, to all of you. I need to prove myself to all of you that I am worthy enough-"
"Jesus, stop that Kevdin, you don't have any proving to do." I brought her hand down that has been doing excessive hand gestures.
"Are you sure? I still have this gut feeling that you don't trust me."
My thoughts went to what Alice said and hesitated for a minute.
"Kevdin, I trust you, alright? Stop worrying about something you didn't have to do." I brightly smiled.
She happily nodded her head and stood up.
"Wait for me, I will just borrow a book and we can go home."
I nodded and grabbed all the materials laid out on the table inside my bag.
