Y/n's pov
I can't believe how huge this place is, and the technology here is probably worth millions. It would be a good idea to explore it a bit more, it's out of my comfort zone, but I have nothing to lose so why not? I walk to the stairs and look up.
Fantastic, now I have ten hundred steps just to get to the next floor. I'll flop in bed for a bit before exploring, wait till my muscles heal.
So up you go! I take the first few steps and wince. Just breath, you'll be fine in a few hours. I definitely should check to see if there is a lift anywhere on my adventure.
Only half-way up! Yay...
"Y/n!"
I jump and fall up the stairs like a normal person, "Ow." I turn in annoyance, grumbling under my breath until a blush creeps up on my cheeks as I see Loki running up to me.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't think you would fall! Are you ok?" He chuckle and sats down next to me as I roll over on my back.
"Haha, I would have fallen anyway, my bed is too far away from the gym."
"I see, you've been working hard?" He scans me aching body briefly. Is he checking me out? No, stop, why would he want to look at a piece of trash like you? Alright, maybe not trash, be nicer to yourself - probably more of a crumpled box.
Anyway, I look up at his deep blue eyes and nod, "I guess so, it is taking me a bit longer to get up the stairs then I would want."
"A bit too hard then?" He chuckles again. His smile is so enchanting, I could stare at it for days on end.
As he stands up he flips his hair behind his shoulder, "Do you want me to help you up?"
"Sure, just don't yeet me down the stairs once we get to the top."
"Yeet?" Loki furrows his brow confusedly.
"Midgardian slang."
"Oh, yes, I've heard spider-boy use that term."
I now I was thinking he'd just pull me up and just support some of my weight, but no, he full on scoops me up bridal style, pausing to look at me before making a steady ascent upwards. Now I am blushing harder and so flustered.
"You must w-work out too, not many people can carry me you know." I chuckle nervously.
"Well as a God, I do have to keep up the standards." he smirks looking proud of himself, I giggle at his confidence, not noticing the little pink dot on the side of each of his cheeks.
When we reach my room he gently sets me down on my feet by the door, one hand still on my back keeping me steady. He could have dropped me off at the top of the stairs - but I'm glad he didn't.
"Thank you Loki, if you hadn't found me I may have been stranded in the middle of the stairs."
"That's no problem, darling."
A shiver shoots down my spine, Loki's smile spreads a little more and he waves and walks away. I follow him with my eyes to see him enter what I assume is his room before the door shuts.
I can't help but wonder what could be in Loki's room, he's a sorcerer, so does he have books? His wardrobe would be interesting to look at actually. I guess I am being a bit nosey. So I waddle into my room, brainstorming ways to hang out with Loki without making a fool of myself. I flop in bed and daydream to pass the time as my muscles heal.
