Y/n's pov

I yawn, there's literally fuck all I can do. Everything fun is outside my room. How long am I in here? A week? That's bullshit if you ask me. I honestly think I'll be fine by tommorow.

Anyway, I take a big bite out of the sandwich. It always tastes good, but when Loki makes it, it gives me a head rush of fuzzy love. I hope he made it out of love, people may joke that he's cold hearted, but he really makes me feel amazing. It's almost like he already knows exactly how to win me over. There is no reason for him to, but he makes me feel special everyday.

After I finish the sandwich, savouring the flavours still in my mouth, I reach down to put the plate next to my bed, my arm aching with the effort. Why is every movement a chore? I guess I did blow up about 15 hours ago.

I yawn once more, maybe I'll take a nap...

Who am I kidding, of f*cking course I'm gonna take a nap, that shit rocks.

3rd person pov

Thor sits with Loki in his room, checking in on his little brother. Loki is more composed now, crushing berries in his mouth, the repetatice motion giving him something to control. A thought suddenly crosses his head as he turns to Thor, "Are you sure Y/n isn't annoyed with me? I mean... Are you sure I didn't overstep?"

"Yes brother, in fact they asked me the same thing." Thor rolls his eyes and shakes his head, trying not to laugh.

"But I would never-"

"I told them that." Thor chuckles and pats Loki's back.

Loki slowly nods as a little bit of pink reaches his cheeks, "I'll go and knock." He stands up and heads to the door.

Thor follows, "Honestly Loki, you always assume the worst out of good things. Just relax and enjoy yourself. You deserve it."

"That's easier said than done brother." They both exit the room, Thor giving an encouraging nod as Loki heads over to Y/n's room, fiddling with the hem of his shirt before stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Thor walks over to the living room, feeling the urge to watch a sitcom to unwind. That's where he spots Tony, the tension from the arguement and feeling of protection for his brother seeping back in, "Tony, we need to talk."

Tony turns his head over the back of the sofa, "About what?"

"You know what I mean Tony." Thor crosses his arms.

"Honestly, I don't." he smirks and turns back to flick the channel, spreading his legs across the sofa.

Thor steps forward, not happy with this immature behaviour,"You need to let go of this grudge! It's doing none of us any good."

"What grudge?"

"From New York! It has been years since the incident and you still use it as an excuse to hate Loki, it is childish."

Tony sighs, "I can't forgive him, you know what he did, you know what I had to do!"

"Why is it so hard for you to see that he isn't the same Loki anymore? Even so, he was controlled by Thanos and the mind stone, he had no choice."

"It doesn't excuse what he did! Even I eventually apologiesed to Nat when I threw that waffle at her! Loki killed over 80 people in two days!"

"Then why don't you hate Clint? He was in exactly the same situation as Loki!" Thor's voice wavers

"Clint?" Tony raises his finger, "Well that was different!" He then points, but then his words fail him, and he grows silent, his answer lacking justification. He then vaguely gestures,  "Well I... Clint was..." Tony rests his face in his hands in frustration.

Thor then leans on the back of the sofa, tilting his head, "Exactly, now apologise to Loki."

"Are you mad!?" Tony's jaw drops.

"Are you scared?" Thor growls as he clenches his fists.

"No, Loki needs to apolog-"

"He has Tony, countless times! He has been paying the price for too long, just because you never listen to him!" Thor booms, eyes start to buzz with white light.

"Um, point break..." Tony gulps, getting up from the sofa and backing away, "You are doing the, thing."

Thor's body is now alight, lightning bolts zapping all over the place, waiting to be released.

When Tony sees Thor raise his arms, his eyes widen, "SH****T!" He legs it and disappears.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, Thor!" Steve runs into the room, "Calm down, you'll destroy the living room."

Thor clenches his fists and zaps the grass outside the building, which splits the air and crackles. He then grunts as his powers die down, "Sorry Steve, as Midgardian's may say, 'I couldn't put up with Tony's sh*t'"

"I understand, but mind your language."

As they both stand in the aftermath of the argument, Bruce creeps in with caution and confusion written all over his face, "Is everything alright?" He whispers to Steve

"I won't hurt you Bruce." Thor mutters.

"Thanks." Bruce relaxes his posture and then scratches his head.

Thor scuffs the floor with his boot and says, "I wish Tony would just see how wrong he is."

"Did he anger Loki again?" Steve approaches.

"It's not just anger anymore." Thor shakes his head and storms out.

"Well..." Bruce walks up to Steve, "Should we do something about this?"

"Honestly, I don't know Bruce. I do think Tony is dragging this out too long, he doesn't need to trust him completely, he just needs to see Loki's point of view."

"And what is that exactly?"

"I'm not sure. Thor seems to know and trusts it, but he doesn't tell us, so I can't be sure if Loki truly deserves to be pardoned."

"Maybe we have to get Loki to be a bit more open, noone really knows anything about him. Sure he isn't nasty to us, but he is hard to have a conversation with." Bruce rubs the back of his neck.

"I guess that's because none of us have tried, he kept out of our way when he joined, so we just let him do that. I see Loki has been struggling, especially lately, and Tony is pushing it. Yes, Loki may not be... indifferent to us, but we shouldn't contribute to his pain, that's unethical."

Bruce slowly nods, "I agree. It's obvious he has trust issues, so I'm not surprised he pushes us away, but sometimes the best way to change is a good support system."

Both Bruce and Steve let their eyes wander around the living room, as if it would give them the answer.

"Bruce?"

"Steve?"

"Don't you think it would be easier to gain perspective if we get to know him?"

"Yes, where are you going with this?"

Steve leans on the arm of the sofa, "Do you know what Loki does for fun?"

Bruce scratches his chin and then shrugs. "I don't know, the only time I've seen him is when he's eating or in the library. He spends hours in there sometimes, I swear he's read the whole place twice over."

Steve nods and starts to walk slowly about, "We need to try and get on Loki's good side, to see if it is actually good, maybe we can gift him some new books?"

Bruce purses his lips together in thought before replying, "That could work to start off with... but what are we going to do after that? Gifts can only go so far."

"Just be friendly with him, not too friendly though, you know he gets very suspicious if something is out of the ordinary."

"Ok, deal, then we can prove Thor or Tony right."

Steve extends his hand out for Bruce, who takes it tentatively.

"Deal."
