Y/n's pov

It is some time in the morning and a light knocking wakes I up. I groan and stretch in my bed as someone pokes their head through the door. My vision started to focus and I am surprised to see Loki.

"Good morning Y/n." He pauses, his head still the only thing visable, like he is nervous to intrude, his fingers holding the door open as his body stays outside the room. I still can admire his beauty, finally being able to look him in the eye without him running off. Such a bright blue sends a wash of warm through my body.

I sit up, scratching my chest, jumping when I forget about the montiors Stephen hooked on me. I can't believe I slept comfortably with those on. I hear Loki's foot shuffle, so I look back at him and smile, "Good morning L-Loki."

He takes a few steps in and stands at he doorway awkwardly, I almost laugh, he looks as stiff as a royal guard, he clasps his hands together and says, "I have to apologise for earlier, for acting so improperly. I did not want to leave a bad first impression, I was... not in the right head space should I say."

"That's alright, I understand, it's not everyday that you see your dead-" I pause, "sorry, I mean, I..." Oh god I really messed up straight away, good job Y/n!

"Don't worry yourself Y/n, I know." He lets out a long, quiet sigh, "Anyway, I am here to let you know that breakfast is ready in 15 minutes and you aren't refined to your room anymore."

Thank fuck, "Thank you, I'll get, get ready then I'll be out. How do I get to the place where, um, I can get breakfast?" Sh*t, why does this happen around people I find attractive.

I blush as Loki chuckles, "I believe it is called the kitchen," he shows a small amused smirk, "it is to your left, down the stairs, you can see it on the right as you go down."

"Ok" I scrunch my nose with embarrassment, "Thank you Loki, I guess I'll see you later?"

"Yes, bye for now" he smiles, sending another wave of warm through me. I can't help but feel like I've been waiting for him to smile for so long. But why? This is so trippy, like deja vu. Why am I so attached already? He walks out as I day dream and quietly closes the door behind him.

Wow, I totally just made a fool of myself, well done. His speech is so eloquant, nostolgic even. Kind of like a lullaby, where I can fall asleep in his arms-Wait stop! I have only seen this guy for like 5 minutes total, calm yourself down.

I shake my head and smack my cheeks a little before swinging my legs over the bed. I stumble to the bathroom, there is a shelf of one towel, some soap and shampoo, and a fresh set of clothes. I must stink, after all, I haven't showered since the day I left the house, god, maybe that's why Loki was so hesitant to enter my room.

3rd person pov

Loki walked down the corridor stairs toward the kitchen. Steve and Wanda were both busy cooking breakfast for everyone, and more people began to spill in and take their seats at the table. He made his way over and took a seat next to Thor—better than having his brother shout across the room at him.

"You told them, brother?" Thor leaned in.

"Yes, they were asleep when I knocked."

"And? Was it as bad as you thought it would be?"

"No, they weren't mad at me. They are probably just being polite though."

"It's better than the angry argument you thought would erupt," Thor chuckled, sipping his mug.

"I guess so." Loki's thoughts wandered. Y/n had seemed very frightened and nervous—had he scared them off already? Had he made them scared enough to stutter? To blush?... however, it had been rather adorable. He frowns, he's promise to treat Y/n as a new person, and now he is thinking of them in this way, like he'd treat Y/an. Loki clenches his jaw and stands up abruptly, getting himself a glass of water, leaning on the wall, quietly thinking to himself.
