"Don't think I've ever been here, Mr. Shelby." Salomé eyes wandered as she looked through the car window. The car was stopped in front of a home very similar looking to the main Shelby home.
The only difference this house had compared to the main Shelby house was that it was quieter, being at the end of the line of houses was a perk. There was still prying eyes and ears as this house was only some minutes away from the other one but Tommy knew and even Salomé knew that no one could say this was the house she ran off to.
Most would figure that Salomé was in the Shelby home right now, sipping tea with Polly Gray and telling her life story.

"Don't come around 'ere alot." Tommy said as he turned off the car.
"Why is that?" Salomé turned from the house to Tommy with a curious look on her face.
"Don't have anyone here so what's the point." Tommy shrugged, Salomé could tell he didn't wanna elaborate why he didn't spend time at his own personal home.
"Is this place as dusty as Mr. DuBois house?" Salomé joked earning a light chuckle from Tommy.
"Don't know but I do know this house has whiskey instead of wine." Salomé gave off a genuine laugh one she hadn't let out for hours now, it was music to Tommy's ears.
"Enough now, let's go inside this mysterious house of yours, this car starting to get stuffy." Salomé tugged at the long coat that she had took off Tommy awhile back.
Tommy nodded his head stuffing the keys in his pocket, his fingers grabbing the other set of keys, the house keys.

Tommy and Salomé walked up to the doorstep of the house, Salomé watched as Tommy's hands unlocked the front door then pushed it open with ease.
Salomé walked in behind him, closing the door and locking it of course.
She stared in awe at the small home that looked like it hadn't seen human activity in months.
"Make yourself at home, I'll get a fire started." Tommy walked off, going into another room.
Salomé didn't respond and just studied the home. Automatically entering the house you were in the kitchen and through a archway that's where the tea room was, also where Tommy was starting the fire. There was an upstairs too, the dark staircase must've lead to Tommy's room and a washroom.

You could say this house made Salomé very curious about Tommy. Even though the couple had been together for a year now, there was still a lot for the both to learn about each other. Tommy and Salomé were stubborn and hardly opened up about their past, only few small parts from their past was brought up only so they could have an understanding of each other, things couples do.
Tommy understood that Salomé had suffered wounds from the terrible deaths of her brother and mother, which she was still mourning.
Salomé understood that Tommy suffered wounds from the war, where he was still mourning the lost of his old self.
There was still a lot the couple had to learn about each other.

Tommy entered the kitchen again seeing Salomé dust off the table and chairs.
"Sit down, I'll go through these cupboards of yours and see what you got." Tommy listened to Salomé and sat down at the table. This would've bewildered his family if they had saw this, Thomas Shelby listening to someone that wasn't his Aunt Polly or deceased mother was beyond shocking.
