A/N: I decided to add one more chapter...Enjoy!
Oh dear, Damien's eyes become open to a truth that's been hiding right in front of him all along...
Damien POV
"DAD, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???" I burst into dad's office that morning, since I could not sleep at all, especially after what I had just witnessed, demanding to find out who this girl really was and why she was intimately kissing my boyfriend???!!!
"Whoa, son...Don't you take that kind of tone with me! Now calm down, take a deep breath and tell me what's going on?" My father peered from behind his laptop, raising his head towards me.
I took out my phone, with the screen displaying her photo, name and identification certificate from the Organization's server. He took one look at it, then turned to his computer and began to type into it. Her details instantly loomed up upon the large flat screen above us as he beckoned me to sit behind the desk, beside him.
"Hmm...interesting. I have no recollection of this person being in our database. She must have been a recent entry. I wonder who allowed her in. Ah, here are the details of her entry. Agents Mason and Fahey did the paperwork, but...Marcus approved it. Let me get Marcus on the line..."
My father reached over and pushed a button on a side console near his desk, revealing another small screen that popped up with Marcus' cheery face.
"Hi Marcus, how's it going? Yeah, I have a question for you. According to a recent docket, you approved the entry to the Tech department for one Terri Von Crum?"
"Hey D, let me check. Ah yes, agents Mason and Fahey found her, at Randy's aunt's request. She feared for the girl's safety, being with child and all, and asked if she could be brought into safety, under our care, since Randy was here also".
"According to the docket, she's carrying Randy's kid. The aunt explained that he had accidentally gotten her pregnant while she was his tutor in high school, and she didn't want him to worry...OH SHIT!" Marcus exclaimed, raising his hands in shock upon seeing me on the other end.
"I am so sorry Damien...so sorry that you had to find out this way, son. I was asked by his aunt to keep it private, and I was just honoring her wishes..." Marcus' face fell, seeing the darkness cloud my face.
"That's fine, sir. You were being respectful, whereas someone was not...at least, not to me!" I pulled the chair back and made my way towards the door.
"Damien...DAMIEN...Where are you going? STOP...Sorry Marcus...I need to go..." I overheard my father cut off the call, as he came after me.
But I was too quick, racing out the door and into my car, which I had left, parked outside in the driveway.
I was still wearing the clothes that I had donned on last night, but I seriously could not care less as I drove directly to our school to confront the one I thought I loved and whom I thought loved me...Randy Crum. His name suddenly had a bitter taste in my mouth from just saying it. If he only had the decency last night to tell me, after all this time of knowing that he was soon to be a father, perhaps, I could have forgiven him.
The fact that he had been tutored by this woman during all this time while we were in high school, and getting her pregnant while he was involved with me, incensed me. I had wondered how long and when he had been carrying on with her.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and confront the woman, to learn what I could regarding their relationship, and based on this information, make a final confirmation of the choice that I must make, although deep in my heart I had already made it.
