A/N: The Black Hole that sucked in Mothership KALA. Let's see where it leads Dante and his team to...

Dante POV

What seemed like an eternity floating in a space of nothingness was extremely frustrating to us. Our communication systems were down. We had no way of knowing where we were. It seemed as if everything was at a standstill as we floated in the blackness that seemed to stretch for miles and miles.

I grew fearful...fearful of the possibility that my beloved would never awaken from his 'sleep'; fearful that we would never be able to make it home again. Surely, there must be a God somewhere up there who would smile down on me and comfort me and tell me that everything was going to be just fine.

At least, I had my parents and the entire contingent of personnel with me, or else I would have gone mad. What seemed like seconds, turned into minutes, then hours. How long were we in here? I thought. Is there no end to this thing?

Honestly, I had no idea. Never in my lifetime had I encountered a black hole, and I never thought that I'd be stuck in one, until now. Science has described black holes as infinitesimal darkness, and I had no plans of getting us stuck here for all eternity.

There had to be some way out of it, and I was going to have to be the one to try, since my powers seemed to be the strongest. Encouraged by not only my parents, but everyone on board the mother ship, I began to recite a mantra which Damien had taught me.

I felt that this would enable me to focus all my energy on piercing through the darkness, in order to escape out of there at great speed. Once we charged out of there, a beautiful sight befell us all...

Our home planet stood glistening in all its' glory.

This was our galaxy. This was home! I never thought we would find it, but here she was in all her glory, beautiful, majestic as she loomed up before us.

My parents stood beside me with both Zack and Arturo, as we came closer, preparing for re-entry into her atmosphere. I turned to my parents as Zack checked the oxygen levels. Although we were an advanced species, I was concerned whether it was necessary to adapt to the levels present on the planet, since technically we had been away for far too long, having adapted to Earth's atmospheric conditions.

My parents reassured me that this was not necessary, for the air was readily acceptable for both humans and our species which Zack surprisingly confirmed. All I really wanted to do was look for the plant and heal my beloved Damien.

"Sir, it's Commander Darius" Miro noted, as the dashboard was flashing.

"Hello sir. We aren't quite at the space station as planned, due to a very unstable detour. A black hole sucked us in..." I replied.

"What? Are you all alright? Where are you, if not at the station?" Darius gasped.

"We've re-discovered our home planet and are preparing to land as we speak..." I answered.

"Thank heavens you're all safe! That's great news! How's my boy doing?" He asked softly.

"He's fine, sir. Vital signs are good" Zack answered this time.

"Good, that's great to hear. Let us know if...when..." Darius bit his tongue.

"Of course, sir, definitely you'll be the first to know" I reassured him.

It was all I could offer him at this point. Until we found the plant in question, extracted its' oils and correctly administered the correct dosage to Damien, I had no way of knowing whether it would really work to get my beloved out of this comatose state.
