A/N: We now travel back in time to a little paradise named Mallorca...Damien is teaching Dante how to control his abilities with a little patience, and meditation.

Flashback a few weeks ago in Can Pastilla, Mallorca:

Damien POV

"You're doing great...just a little bit more..." I observed as Dante was practicing his levitations in the back garden near my place. I made sure that no one was watching, especially not the princess' goons. The last thing we wanted was for her to discover what Dante was.

In truth, I had no idea, at least not a complete idea of Dante's abilities, but I was happy to help him find out. He needed to find out desperately. There were still a lot of unanswered questions about his missing parents, which dad and Bry were investigating back home.

But for now, my assignment had taken on an unexpected turn...I had fallen in love with my charge, and he felt the same about me. The emotional bond between us grew stronger each day, each moment when we were together. I had totally forgotten that debacle of a relationship that I had with Randy.

Day by day we tackled his anger issues, allowing his energy to flow calmly through him. The horror of having been raped as a child by the one assigned to be his guardian by that bastard, Thorpe, was slowly fading away. It was funny how we both had been under guardians assigned by that man, and had suffered a great deal of mental, emotional and in Dante's case physical anguish.

I'd never seen a man calmer and more confident of himself. It was our practice of yoga which had helped Dante focus on his abilities more without lashing out in anger. He was at least able to control it little by little.

So far, we had been able to pinpoint some of his abilities: his ability to tell the future, to heal, to manipulate minds, to bend objects at will were amazing feats of his psychic ability. There was also the other darker side to him: his ability to destroy and annihilate.

"D, I'm exhausted. Can I stop now? Yikes!" He yelped, breaking concentration, so that he fell hard onto the grass lawn, hurting himself slightly.

"Are you okay?" I rushed over to help him up. He nodded, capturing my lips lustfully.

"I wish I didn't have to go back to the mansion. You know very well what she'll demand of me. But lately, she's been asking for you, too!" He raised his eyebrows at me.

"She's pretty demanding, isn't she?" I shuddered, remembering the last time I met the princess at her place. It was not pleasant, especially after she had just lost her husband. She was a whiny, over-demanding, lust-hungry female I had ever come across! How the prince ever managed to curb her whims was beyond me!

The woman's voracious appetite for sex superseded everything else. I was also frustrated as she remained tight-lipped about a lot of things, vital information that I wanted to squeeze out of her, to hasten our capture of the woman and the destruction of the human trafficking ring.

"Well, couldn't you at least read her mind or something?" I teased, "It would save us a lot of time, especially now that the prince is no longer alive. That shaman is not to be trusted. I imagine they'll still try to get the prince's soul into you one way or another" I added, stroking his back softly, as Dante stiffened upon absorbing that thought.

"I know that it's going slowly, but since her liberation from her dead husband, she's been basking in all her glory, having received full ownership of his properties, investments, financial records...which is good for us. I seriously hope that we will have all the necessary information to trap her and her cohorts really soon..." Dante shook his head, viewing the snapshots of the reports on her desk.
