A/N: Finally had the urge to re-edit and post this continuing work again. My apologies to all of you who have waited patiently for so long. I had been in two minds whether to continue or to remove this body of work altogether. This is how it's been lately with me. But well, I decided that since I am in the process of re-editing anyway, why not give it another chance and hopefully attract new readers in the process.

Re-cap: We find Commander Bryant in a situation from the past which has come to haunt him, in the form of Rhet Tambernay, Bron's step-father, during a mission in Gdansk. Bryant has confessed to Darius the entire situation, which resulted in the murders of several Soviet soldiers. Rhet has been blackmailing Bryant into keeping quiet over the years, and Bryant has been sadly an unwilling victim of consent...

Damien POV

I awoke to thunderstorms and rain splattering on the windows. We were not allowed back to school today as a hurricane was fast approaching. But that wasn't the only reason for not sleeping well. Early this morning, I had heard shouting and the slamming of doors across the West Wing.

"BRY! Come back! Don't let him do this to you! Don't force yourself to make a decision you'll regret later, please!" I heard my dad say, as he chased after Bryant who seemed to be in a hurry while going downstairs.

"I've had it up to here with that asshole! He can't control my life forever, not even after that incident! You're right, D! I should never have let him go this far! This ends NOW!" Bryant nodded as he went past me.

We altogether went downstairs, hurriedly following Bryant as he swung open the large front doors and...

"Commander Bryant Christensen? You are under arrest for the murders of these men during Operation Gaia. It had been brought to our attention by Commander Rhet Tambernay that you were involved and that he had witnessed these atrocities committed by you personally. Sorry Bryant, I have to place you under arrest..." The Lieutenant regretfully seized Bryant by the wrists, placing him in handcuffs.

"What?" Bryant looked in utter disbelief while the rest of us were in total shock with regards to what just happened. His eyes flitted towards my father, fearing the worst.

"Lieutenant, what is the meaning of this?" My father accosted the man harshly.

"I'm sorry sir. I am under orders to arrest the Commander. New information has come to light as Operation Gaia has been re-opened for investigation. This also includes your two-year incarceration at the hands of the then Senator Thorpe who is now answering for all his crimes. You may be called as a witness, sir. Please let me do my job and stand aside..." My father budged reluctantly aside as Bryant was taken into custody.

"Don't worry Bry. I'll get to the bottom of this, I SWEAR! The committee must be properly informed. I shall definitely see to it, I promise..." My father gazed over as he leaned towards Bry, gently kissing his temple before he was led away, whispering "Don't worry...I love you..." Bry nodded slowly.

"Dad, what's happening? Why is Bry being arrested?" I voiced out our collective concern for the Commander, while the others looked on anxiously.

"Something took place a long time ago, when Bryant was your age and just a young soldier going through his paces in a mission that ended badly for all of us. Where is that WEASEL?" My dad's nostrils flared as he shifted uneasily, searching for something or rather...someone.
