A/N: I have returned with another insight into Mara and Ilya's plans... We will now find out who they truly are...

Fly high, fly free dear one! Our hearts are with you always!!!

Observer POV

Mara studied the mapping device strapped around her wrist, which delicately displayed a holographic image of the terrain in front of them.

"Ilya, are you sure this is the way?" A look of concern flashed across her face.

"Yes, positive. These are the coordinates we were given as soon as we were freed from that hyperbaric prison we were encased in... Ah, there it is..." Ilya pointed towards a structure which loomed in the distance, but there was nothing peculiar about it. It looked like any other abandoned silo, similar to others standing beside it.

But then, there was one thing that made each of these silos special. No one could decipher the unique markings each one had upon its' side - a few unusual hieroglyphs that only their kind could understand.

Once clear, Ilya made sure that the car was devoid of anything that could point others in their direction. They then hid the car amongst some tall bushes, and proceeded the rest of the way on foot, so as to avoid suspicion.

Mara encircled the structure, looking for some indication of where the entrance to the structure might be. The structure emitted out a low hum, as she placed her hand upon it, feeling a unique, vibrational pull which guided her hand towards a hidden panel.

She tugged on the panel and it came loose, revealing a panel decorated with the same, intricate symbols. She pressed her fingers upon it in a sequence, and the panel slid downwards, revealing a lever which she then turned to the right.

A door miraculously appeared before them, sliding sideways to reveal an elevator, leading deep down into the structure. Mara and Ilya placed their right palms into the groove of hieroglyphs which stood out on the side panel. The grooves pin-pointed every hill and vale of their hands, reading the lines of their fingers and palms.

The panel turned blue, indicating their presence to those below ground, and soon, the elevator doors slid shut, and they felt themselves descending towards an unknown level. They did not know how far down they had travelled, but it seemed like quite a distance.

Once the lift doors opened again, they were greeted by others similar to them, but with weapons raised in their direction. The leader, a handsome humanoid, approached them cautiously, as he stood dangerously close to them, sniffing them as if he was familiarising himself with their scent.

He then smiled, and motioned to the others to put their weapons down. He pulled them both close to him, in a fond embrace, announcing, "Let us welcome our brother and sister, upon their successful return to us. We must prepare for the journey home," He beamed.

"Home?" Ilya enquired.

"My dear brother, during the final rescue run to bring the last remaining people of our planet, and to salvage the remnants of our people's archival history before our home planet's destruction, we came upon a huge meteor shower, which battered the hull of the last ship, causing us to lose control and crash-land.
