Re-cap: Damien and Darius almost lost their lives, during an intense training session in the virtual training centre. Darius' investigations with Zack over that strange mishap at the centre, have revealed two very shady characters in their midst...and they just so happened to be related to a certain boy named 'Randy'...

Damien POV

A few days later:

Today was the third day of my appointment with a psychiatrist, who was highly recommended by Bry and Marcus. But she was first screened by both Dad and Marina before I met her.

They thought that it was necessary to get all this anger out of me during the process of my training, in order to have a clear and calm mind during my missions. I also took up yoga again because it was meditative and brought me the calmness and clarity I needed.

I opted not to go back to the apartment for the time-being, seeing as how it was better for me overall to be at the Compound. Arturo had found an electronic thumb print which belonged to the culprit who sabotaged the program. A further investigation led to one of Zack's new assistants which to everyone's shock, was related to Randy. In fact, this assistant was his sibling from another woman, something which Randy did not know about.

The man was apprehended and eventually gave up his partner in crime. Agents Fahey and Mason caught up with the man as he was leaving the lab, after trying to clean up some evidence of having tampered with the program.

Both my father, Bry and Marcus were at dad's office, interrogating the guy and his accomplice who was also a relative of Randy's. On further investigation, they had been sent by the Von Crum family because they had received word from an unknown source that I was to blame for the break-up, which incensed the matriarch of the Von Crum family, Egon's mother, or rather, Randy's grandmother.

Somewhere down the line, whoever relayed that information had gotten their wires crossed and thought that I had caused our breakup, hence the sabotage of the program, which nearly cost us our lives! Damn the Von Crums for their interference in everything. I thought that they abhorred Egon's involvement in dangerous liaisons with criminals, but it seemed that they were no better than the man.

When Randy was summoned to the office, I was present which made us both uncomfortable, but since I had been the target of these two men, I had to be there to clear the situation up and that it was all a misunderstanding. But the two men would still be punished for their actions since our lives had been at stake during the virtual trial.
