i walked out of room for the first time in a couple of hour, words, words and more words of writing filled my brain. i didn't know why i decided to make a movie about my life, even when i wanted to delete most of it from my memory. every time i read through the scripts, i went back to a time in my life that i couldn't believe was 3 years ago.

"your out of your hideaway." deja poked her head from the couch. "jasmine told me what happened, you okay?" i shrugged. "i just can't believe he found my studio. hell, i didn't tell him i was coming to virginia!" i exclaimed, opening the overhead cabinet for some ramen noodles. "girl, if you wanted food, i coulda brought you food." deja said and i shook my head. "no. you don't always have to bring food home." i denied and poured some hot water into the styrofoam cup.

"i mean if you say soooo."

"i mean you could bring that steak with onions and mushrooms that you make because that shit is good."

deja laughed and went back to her phone. "sure, you want it for lunch tomorrow? i could give it to you on my break." i nodded, "that would be great, thank you." i smiled and went to go sit next to her on the couch.

"where is kiana?" i pursed my lips, twirling the noodles around my fork. "working overtime...again." it was becoming a constant occurrence with kiana and her new job. i get it, you work at NASA, they probably need you 24/7 but i'm sure someone can swap out with you so you could sleep. i didn't know studying stars and galaxies could be so interesting but then again, that's why she got the job.

"we came out here to virginia for her to get this job specifically at the NASA headquarters and she's never home." deja rolled her eyes but i stopped her. "and some good came out of it, didn't it? you got to open a restaurant, jasmine with her shop and my movie sets. we shouldn't really be complaining."

"do you think it due to her engagement? maybe she's avoiding it."

oh yeah, eren and kiana were engaged. finally. a little before kiana's birthday, eren proposed and it was so cute. she cried for like a day straight because she couldn't believe someone could love her for so long. though, as much as kiana was excited for her wedding and everything. she also seemed...hesitant.

kiana is 20, literally coming out of her teen years with the love of her life but she also sees everyone else in their 20s just now exploring life. i guess she felt tied down even though eren and her had been together since junior year.

and of course, eren was starting to ask questions as well. calling me on my breaks to figure out how kiana was doing since she wasn't keeping up with him. he was still in new york, working a place out in virginia since he knew kiana wouldn't want to move anywhere else.

i felt sad, kiana would be moving out soon because they would want a place on their own, right?

everyone in the house had a job, a job that required sleep and proper care of themselves and i knew we would have to have a household discussion about kiana's overtime. i checked the time, 7:10 pm. who knows, she probably won't even walk through that door until 1 in the morning.

"what are you gonna do about armin?" deja asked and i stiffed, noodles hanging out my mouth. i swallowed, the burning sensation warming my insides. "ignore him, kill him, i mean the possibilities are endless." i snickered and continued to eat my noodles. "do any of those possibilities end with you forgiving him?"

i choked on a mouth full of noodles, chewing them to make sure they went down safely. "you have me entirely fucked up." i laughed, thinking she joking. "i'm serious, dakota. from the card, he seemed genuine." i gave her a look.
