"School's out bitches!" Theo shouted as loud as he could. 7th year was over, everyone had passed most of their NEWTs especially Hermione who got outstanding in all of hers. We'd returned back to lessons after we knew that we weren't dying, much to everyone's reluctancy except for Hermione of course. We'd all graduated including Ginny and Luna who after their incredible performance in their OWLs were moved up a year and took NEWTs at the same time we did.

I don't know why I was so upset about leaving. It was like when me and Blaise broke up, I wanted to leave him there so bad, but he was familiar, Hogwarts was familiar. So I just wanted to stay. It was weird the idea of leaving now and never coming back, at the end of every school year your time was cut short I suppose and they you went back. But now we we're 18, or most of us were. We we're adults now, we had dreams and aspirations to follow but I didn't have any. So what was I supposed to do?

Harry had the qualifications as a Auror, something he so wanted to do, Draco was planning on becoming a healer at st Mungo's.

Ginny had her quidditch dreams, Theo was going to work in the ministry though I wasn't sure which department.

Hermione had decided the same, I assumed she wanted to be right up there near the minister. Pansy was taking on the role of DATDA next year as most of us had scared off Mr. Gowen from this year. She made it adamant that she would stay for more than a year, break the curse.

Neville was planning to take up the role of Herbology teacher which I thought was the perfect job for him. Luna was going to write the Quibbler with her father and carry on his legacy.

Fred and George had their shop and with the amount of money they were bringing in from students at the school Lee didn't need to work but he did, he stocked shelves, ordered everything they needed to make the sweets and then got paid by his two boyfriends and the money went right back into the shop anyway.

Blaise was planning to work for the daily prophet, he'd found interest in journalism from a young age but never thought to peruse it and until he told me and I pushed him to do it, he finally did.

But me. I had no idea? I'd always planned to become an Auror with Harry but the idea didn't fascinate me enough anymore. I mean I got the qualifications barely but again, the idea of it scared me more than thrilled me now. So I was back to square one.

"You alright?" Blaise said and I snapped out of my daze. I smiled and nodded focusing on walking down the hallway in front of us. Mum and Dad were coming to get us and Blaise was going back to his parents. It'd be the first time in two and a half years we hadn't been together. He'd always came to mine over summer and over Christmas but he had to go back, had to save him Mum. We reached the entrance and filch opened the doors for us and we stepped out into the warm summer weather. I could see the car parked down in the grounds and Ginny running down to meet them. I looked at Blaise.

"You owl me every day okay?" I said feeling tears form in my eyes.

"Every day." He kissed my forehead softly. "Wear this." He took a long necklace out from under his robes, one I hadn't actually seen before.

"Wear this, as long as the like stays on I'm safe got it?" I nodded.

"I love you." I said breathlessly wrapping my arms around his neck into a hug.

"I-" he went to say it but I stopped him.

"Tell me when you get back okay?" He nodded.

"I have to go back that way." He pointed down the hall. I nodded and he ran down the corridor taking one last look at me at the end before turning the corner. I held the necklace tight in my hand and took a deep breath before walking down the grounds to mum and dad. They smiled and both gave me a hug.

Harry had gone with Draco to visit his mum over the holidays, Theo had to go back to his parents like Blaise. But it wasn't like Theo had a psycho step father to worry about. He'd already gone and Ginny seemed alright about it to be fair.

Hermione was going with Pansy to meet her parents for half the summer and then they were going to meet Hermione's for the rest. Neville and Luna had gone to his Gran's and then we're meeting up with Xenophelius.

Lee, Fred and George would be working over summer but they were staying at home. Dean and Seamus were going Ireland to see Seamus's mum and then on the way back we're visiting Dean's mum.

We all planned to meet back at the Burrow September 1st for Blaise's birthday and I hoped everyone could make it. Including Blaise.

"We should get going." Dad said and I nodded getting into the car. I'd promised Mcgonagall to owl her at least once a month, she'd been kind to me over these past few years and I'd made it a point that I'd write to Dumbledore to see how he was. I had so many questions for him that I still needed to ask. Like why his mark hadn't turned black after a year, why it was still white. And why they hadn't broken up if Gellert had left him. I had no idea who this Gellert was but he must have been important.

I took once last look at the castle before we drove out of sight and back home.
