Ring!

We went downstairs with the two kids, Scorpius had fallen asleep on his front on Draco and Noah was content on my hip. Draco went over to Harry who I assumed asked about why he had Scorpius and Draco explained the teething situation. Blaise went to the kitchen to get some food for Noah.

"Ron were sorry for pushing you earlier, If you don't wanna talk about it, that's fine." Theo said and I nodded.

"Thanks." Noah giggled and I looked at him surprised.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked and he grabbed my hand.

"Ring!" My eyes went wide and I looked at everyone else hoping they hadn't heard but of course I wasn't that lucky. There mouths were all open wide.

"Okay what!" Pansy said and Blaise walked back in with some toast on a plate. He saw everyone's faces and looked at me.

"What's wrong with everyone?" He asked and I chuckled.

"Your son over here gave us away." I gestured to the ring.

"That's my boy!" Blaise said and Noah giggled leaning forward for him. Blaise took him and held his hand out for a high five which Noah hit with his own.

I turned back to everyone who were still gawping at me.

"Explain." Harry said and I shrugged.

"Not much to tell really. It sort of just happened when I went upstairs."

"So our pushing meant that you went upstairs, also pushing Blaise to propose." Hermione asked.

"Woah Woah don't take all the credit." Blaise said, he had Noah in his lap now while the kid munched on the toast. "It was going to happen tonight either way. You guys just pushed it forward a few hours." I smiled.

"You weren't going to tell us we're you." Seamus asked.

"Yeah I was!" I said unconvincingly, "okay maybe not but I didn't want to take away from Noah's day."

"Ron the kid doesn't have a clue what's going on." George said.

"I'm just still trying to fathom the idea that our little brother has a kid and is engaged before us." Fred said. "And that our little sister has a kid!"

"Well get a move on then Fred." I said glancing at Lee. "Come on there's two of you, it means less planning." I saw a faint blush form on Lee's cheeks.

"Now now let's not get too ahead of ourselves."

"Come on Lee you've been together four years and you have two one year olds!" I said and the twins glared at me.

"Very funny Ron."

"Don't be hypocrites. All of you were more than happy to push me into engagement and now I'm doing the same."

"It's just complicated." Lee said, "1. There's three of us 2. We're all guys. That's two things society looks down on."

"So? Who cares. If that was really a problem for y'all would your names be written on each other's arms?" I asked and Lee shrugged.

"Look we've all said, whatever you're in to. Even Mum. You guys are good together, all of you. Lee you're the only one who actually knows how to reign those two in once and a while. You started off as friends and now you're soulmates. The marks chose you guys to be together all three of you." Lee sighed and Fred and George looked at him. They didn't say anything but let Lee lean into them both. He was thinking. You don't interrupt Lee when he's thinking.

"All my life." He said slowly, "I've been this outspoken, extrovert who's never been afraid to show who he was. I was loud, boisterous and didn't have a care in the world of what anyone else thought of me." He paused.

"And then this soulmate thing hit and I hardly left the common room when we didn't have to. Almost as if I was afraid to face whoever I was seeking approval from. No one important said anything, there was an occasional comment from a Slytherin but that didn't matter to me. What mattered was what you guys thought which is stupid because I knew you didn't care, but a part of me felt like I was an outcast, I was weird because I had both of them." Fred opened his mouth to stay something but George stopped him letting Lee carry on.

"But the more I thought about it I couldn't just pick one." He looked at Fred, "Fred you're this amazing, crazy son of a bitch who never fails to make me laugh." Fred smiled and Lee turned to George. "George you're the quiet one, the one I go too when this one pisses me off." He pointed to Fred, "You're always there when I don't want to talk, when I don't want to say what I'm feeling, when I just want to have company." He sighed.

"And I've always felt guilty for having two names not just one and for not being able to choose. But the truth is you're Fred and George Wesley, my best friends, my boyfriends, my soulmates. You can't just have one without the other." We stayed silent for a moment before Fred spoke softly.

"Do you want to marry us Lee." I held my breath.

"I do." He said softly, "I really do." The twins smiled.

"Then it's settled. Lee Jordan will get his crazy wedding he's always dreamed of." Lee chuckled as George spoke. Fred kissed Lee's cheek softly. It was just about what they did in public. I guess that was another thing Lee was afraid of, being affectionate. But something had changed. Lee pressed his lips to Fred's surprising him then turned to George and did the same.

I smiled. "Just so you know Bill's gonna be pissed if you have a child before him. So I'd wait till his first is on the way." Lee laughed.

"Thank you Ron."

"Hey, I'm just the instigator here. You're the one who really made that happen."

The celebrations went on for hours, until people started to file out slowly until it was just me, Blaise and Noah left. I'm surprised the boy hadn't passed out yet.

"Right little man it is passed your bedtime." I said picking him up from the sofa.

"Could you make him some milk?" I said and Blaise nodded disappearing into the kitchen. We'd got into a routine of giving Noah a bottle every morning and night. The morning was just breakfast normally but we used one at night to help him sleep.

"Daddy?" Noah said as I sat down in his chair waiting for Blaise to bring up his milk.

"Yes baby?" I said picking up some toys he'd got out yesterday that I'd forgot to tidy away.

"Appy Borfday." He said and I smiled kissing his forehead.

"Happy birthday little man." I said and Blaise came in with the milk.

"Here we go." He passed the milk to me and I gave it to Noah. He started drinking and I turned to Blaise.

"We need to get him a new bed." I said, "he climbed out once, he's just gonna keep doing it." Blaise thought for a moment before pulling out his wand. The bed transformed the wooden sides disappearing into the base of the bed and much smaller sides appeared. The room was a pastel animal themed and Blaise took that into consideration colouring the bed blue and making it look like a whale. I smiled looking down at Noah who was watching the bed move. He looked back up at me his face uncertain. I stood up carrying him over to the bed and laying him down on the mattress. Blaise pulled the covers over him tucking in the sides slightly. I looked at Blaise and smiled.

"Well Noah what do you think-" I looked back and the boys eyes were closed, his breathing was steady and the bottle of milk was still in his hands. I took it smiling down at the kid fast asleep.

"We did good." Blaise said and I smiled.

"Yeah, we did."
