"It was scary . . ."

Releasing a sigh, Izo closed the door to your room. You had ended up crying yourself to sleep, hoping that those nightmares would stay away from your slumber. "How are they?" Marco asked from the hallway, arms crossed while leaning onto the wooden walls. Izo heaved a sigh once again, "Poor thing had a nightmare of me, dying." He stated, the feeling of sympathy clear in his voice. "They also mentioned about summoning those scary and deadly creatures from their world."

"I see. They had it rough, huh?"

"I guess they did. Having turned all of the humanity into a creature who eats human flesh and spreads the virus they carry within them would have been terrifying for you too, wouldnʼt it?"

"Not when Iʼm a phoenix." He smirked. "Sure you are." Izo chuckled. His thoughts had wandered back to you making him frown slightly. You reminded the male geisha of his younger sibling back in the Land of Wano. Itʼs been several years since the two had last seen each other and he didnʼt want to come to the conclusion that his sibling is already dead.

He felt a hand tap on his shoulder and looked over Marco. "Itʼll be alright. Weʼll do anything for Y/N to recover." The phoenix commander stated with a smile plastered on his face. Izo returned the smile back before going on different directions to do their assigned tasks.

Get well soon, Y/N.

The sound of punches and grunts resounded through the Moby Dickʼs deck. Ace had caught Teach sneaking up on Thatch with his signature weapon on hand as if he was ready to kill the ship cook. Ace attacked the said sneaking man and now, the whole crew of the Whitebeard Pirates are dealing with their former crew member.

Whitebeard glared down on him making Teach yelp. "You almost broke the silver rule in this ship, Teach." He stated, venom lacing every word coming out of his mouth and lips. "Killing a brother wouldnʼt do no good especially through such a stupid reason."

"His devil fruit is not a stupid reason! I had no other way! Please, Pops . . . Please forgive me!" The latter was already on his knees as he begged his "father". Whitebeard had remembered the day where Teach also begged him to join his crew, his family. But this situation is now different, especially that he had now see his "sonʼs" real intention.

"You are not my son, and you are now forever banned from aboarding the Moby Dick!" Whitebeard declared. Teach looked around as eyes of his former crewmates looked down on him with the same hatred.

"Tie him up and throw him away at the next island." The man ordered and turned away from Teach whose now in shock, unconsciously letting the others handle him and tie him up. The next thing he knew, his body slammed onto the wall of the storage room, the impact had made his head dizzy and the sound of the doors locking was the last thing he heard before shortly passing out.

Your eyes fluttered open at the sound of something slamming onto the wall and someone clicking their tounge. Your head turned, and was greeted by Curiel. "Sorry, did that woke you up? Everyone was dealing with something up at the deck." The doctor chuckled nervously. "How are you feeling? Did the nightmares reoccurred again?"

"Iʼm feeling fine, just a light headache. And I really donʼt remember if I had a dream." You stated as you rubbed your head, your eyes squinting from the light coming from the rising sun.

"I see. Izo had to help at the deck and suggested that I could take care of you in the meanwhile." Curiel handed you a glass of water and you took it, drinking the whole glass.

"The fourth division had probably already cooked breakfast. Iʼll just get some food for you, alright? Wait for me." Curiel stood up and closed the door behind him as soon as he stepped out of your room.

"Take care, Curiel-san." You followed up, and received a "Will do!" from the hallway, making you chuckle lightly. You looked up at the wooden ceiling and raised a brow.

"What were they doing up there?"

To be continued . . .
