Rindou groaned as he turned over in his sleep, only to realise there was something against his back. He lifted himself up, sitting on his elbows as he turned and saw your sleeping silhouette.

One arm was under your pillow, the other was rested under the blanket. He lifted the blanket to see that the both of you were still naked. Eyes widened as he quickly covered himself. He doesn't know why he feels so embarrassed all of a sudden.

Probably has something to do with the fact that you both confessed to each other. And the fact that it WASNT a dream and that this was reality.

You liked him back.

He made a promise to himself before he left his house to see you that whatever the outcome was, he would still hold and treasure you forever. Rejection or nah, you would still be his and he would treat you like such.

He smiled as he moved to lie back down, bringing him arm over your waist, dragging you backwards to him. He nuzzled his face into the nape of your neck and tried to drift off to sleep.

It didn't last long because you were starting to shuffle around, before feeling an arm around you. Your first instinct was to attack the person behind you— which you did. Turning around and hitting the culprit in your bed, before you realised the situation.

"Oh my— I'm- RIN IM SORRY." You sat up so fast the blanket toppled over as you frantically checked to see where you hit him. "Rindou? Did you die?"

He shook his head, sitting up slowly rubbing his shoulder. "Why are you so strong in the mornings? Damn."

You giggled, "sorry— I forgot you were here." You looked down at the blanket. When looking down your aim was to stare at the blanket of course, but instead your eyes landed on your bare chest, before travelling your eyes to Rindou who's chest was also bare.

Normally you would've not cared about this. But this isn't a normal situation. Rindou LIKES you back. He CONFESSED. Your mind grew blank as you thought back to the confession yesterday. Ears went hot as you slowly moved to lie back down, covering your head with your pillow.

Rindou just watched as you tried to suffocate yourself and just scoffed.

"Was last night real?" You finally spoke out, although it came out muffled, he could still understand.

"Mhm."

"So you actually—,"

"Yes."

You brought your face out of the pillow and sat up facing him. He had a soft smile on his face that made your eyes sparkle. You shifted closer to him and placed the palm on your hand on his cheek. He lifted his own hand, wrapping it around yours.

"I don't know what to say," you said breathlessly, and he let out an airy chuckle. "Then don't say anything." He removed his hand from yours and brought it to your head, pushing you closer so your face was against his shoulder.

He felt your lips curl into a smile as you wrapped your arms around his body. Shifting onto his lap so you could feel more comfortable in his embrace.

He was going to cherish you forever.

short chapter 4 now but the story will end at around 50 chapters so we are nearing the end. and oooh man i may give a happy ending. depending on my mood😗

most likely won't be a happy ending but😹 we shall wait
