"Is everything okay?" Mitsuya asked you as he was tutoring you. He noticed the past two days you had your head down. He didn't know you for that long but he could tell this wasn't your normal behaviour.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just tired." You hadn't been able to sleep not hearing from Rindou in two days,

"What's the matter?" He closed the book and put all his attention to you.

"My um boyfriend, his name is Rindou. He hasn't responded to me in two days and I'm just nervous. That's all."

"Rindou?"

"Yep."

"What's his last name......"

"Haitani."

Mitsuya jaw dropped like literally. "What? Is everything okay Mitsuya?"

"Yo-you're dating Rindou Haitani?"

"Yeah....... is something the matter?"

"God I cant stand him and his brother. His older brother hit me in the face with a brick once."

"WHAT??" Now it was your jaw that dropped.

"Do you know what he does for a living?" Mitsuya asked, making sure you knew what you were getting yourself into.

"Yeah, he's in a gang. I know that."

"Do you know how dangerous that is y/n?"

"Yes."

"No, I'm being serious. Like do you actually know and understand. I don't want you getting hurt."

"I'll be fine!"

Mitsuya gets flashbacks to what happened with Emma, hesitating whether he should tell you or not. He didn't want to scare you, but you had to be fully aware of what you were getting yourself into.

"I have a story to tell you."

You adjusted in your seat, "a story? About what?"

"About, this girl. Who we used to be friends with." He looked around the library, before packing up his things, "cant tell you here though. Come with me."

You started to pack up your own things and followed him out of the library. He led you up the stairs until you reached the roof of the school. This was their little spot where they all hung out.

"Give me a second while I text the others." Mitsuya brought out his phone, asking them to come up here.

Five minutes later, Smiley and Angry, aswell as Takemichi and some girl you'd never seen before, along with Inui Chifuyu and Hakkai.

"YOU!" Angry pointed at you and you jumped in your place. "YOURE DATING WHO ?!"

"Rindou.... Haitani."

"HE BROKE MY FUCKING ARM!"

Hakkai joined in, "AND TRIED TO BREAK MY LEG!"

"Oh wow I'm-," you didn't know what to say.

"You're dating someone?" Inui asked and you nodded, "yeah but he hasn't been responding to me in days and I'm worried."

"He's probably cheating on you." Smiley muttered but you heard it. "He's not." You said firmly.

"Y/n." The girl you never met before spoke softly, "are you aware, how dangerous this is? Like you dating someone like him?"

"I think so?"

"Sorry, my name is Hina. I'm Takemichi's girlfriend, but that's not the point. I barely know you but— I can't help but be worried. You see I um, had a friend. Her name was— Emma, she well— died because well it's a long story, just know that someone wanted to get back at Mikey so they—,"

"Wait, Mikey? You mean? Short mikey? Blonde hair? Lifeless eyes?" You asked, making sure they were the same person.

"Yes.... how do you know Mikey?" Hakkai asked you.

"He— works with Rindou."

"You mean? Bonten? OH FUCKKKK HES IN BONTEN I FORGOT!" Chifuyu exclaimed, "YOURE DATING A BONTEN EXECUTIVE?!"

"Yes! Keep your voice down!" You shushed him, "so you're telling me, I could get killed, if I'm involved with Rindou?"

"Well, yeah." They said simultaneously.

"But— nobody knows we are dating."

"Are you sure? What if he's told people already?" Inui said.

"I— I don't know. Oh my god." You felt sick all of a sudden.

What if you were going to be a target? Nothing but a name on a hit list some people cross off to get back at Rindou. You were feeling dizzy. Your head was hurting as these thoughts... such gruesome thoughts stained your brain.

"I need some fresh air-," you said.

"Well, we are outside." Inui laughed, but you didn't find it funny.

"Yeah.. I gotta go." You pushed your way through them and walked back inside the school doors. They watched you go and Hina felt a pang of guilt flood through her. "I didn't mean to scare her! I just wanted her to know the consequences of—,"

"You did nothing wrong," Takemichi comforted her. "Someone go make sure she's ok."

"I'll go." Inui spoke out but Chifuyu stopped him, "Remember what you said yesterday? At the lunch table?"

Inui thought back and nodded, "yeah. But I just want to make sure she's okay! I don't have a crush on her, I'm not a home wrecker. I'm just a close friend. Besides, I'll never go after Rindou Haitani's girl. Don't want him on my ass"

Chifuyu eyed him, "just leave her be for now. When she's ready she will come back."

"Still can't believe she's dating such a rude piece of shit. That fucker left me in a goddamn wheelchair!" Smiley frowned as he thought back to those memories.

Those memories they shared with Mikey. Who was long gone now.

It was as if they all had a moment of silence as they thought of him, before Mitsuya broke it. "Lunch is almost over, gotta go back to class. I'll update you guys on y/n if she shows up ok?"

Hina thanked him, still feeling guilty but decided to drop it.
