Klaus POV
"You had a bet on us?" I asked, unsure whether to feel embarrassed or surprised or happy. I had no idea what was going on, and Duncan's pranks were not helping. At least it was better than being threatened about hurting Iz. Like I would ever do something like that anyway!
But I understood where he was coming from. Violet was older than me so I didn't have a say in her love life...but when Sunny grew up and started dating...I shuddered. Still, just to be on the safe side, I waited until Duncan stopped laughing and asked him, "So...you're okay with this? I mean, with me? I mean, us? I mean-"
"Klaus", he said. "You're a good guy. I know you're going to treat Isadora well. In fact...YOU HAVE MY BLESSINGS."
"DUNCAN!" Isadora shrieked, throwing her pillow at him.
He dodged and turned to me. I gave him a smile and said, "Thank you, Duncan. That means a lot."
He nodded and returned the smile, then promptly fell on his bed and into a deep sleep. I turned to Isadora. She looked back at me and laughed softly. "That went really well."
"You're right." I smiled at her. "You look tired, you should sleep." I whispered.
She hummed in response as I got her pillow from Duncan's bed, then curled up under the covers, and like her brother, fell asleep in a matter of seconds. I chuckled to myself and then walked out of their room and back into my own.
