Jelsa Goes to High School Twist

Chapter 3

Elsa's POV

Mom pulled up in front of the school & I took a deep breath. My fingers were shaking as I was trying to tuck my hair behind my ear, making the glasses look cuter on me. Nothing was working. I sighed & followed Anna out the door.
"Have a good day girls," Mom smiles. I turn around & she gives me a reassuring look. I give her a brave face & head into school. I'm not very excited for school, but there was no way I was going to get out of it. All around, I could already classify groups of people. The "jocks" sat in the sunshine, girls surrounding them & feeling their biceps. The "smart cookies" were sitting under the shade reading books & quizzing each other from flash cards. The "sluts" stood near the jocks, twirling their hair with their skirts pulled dangerously tight and high. The "nerds" sat with their faces glued to a model of a robot they had obviously built. Then there was another group I hadn't noticed before. There was a mix of people, so they couldn't be just one name. But when they walked, everyone cleared out of their way or screamed their names. I couldn't believe it. The group consisted of two girls & three boys. One girl had fiery red, curly hair that bounced when she walked. A skateboard was tucked under one arm and her helmet hung off the backpack on her back. The other girl was a polar opposite. She wore a pale pink dress & her hair was golden & straight, down to her hip. Tucked under her arm was a bag of makeup & I noticed she frequently applied lip gloss. One of the boys had brown shaggy hair & thin glasses. He had a book about dragons tucked under his arm & I noticed he snorted when he laughed. One of the other boys had brown, thick hair & perfect teeth. He always had a smirk on his face & I noticed he was very playful with the girl in the pale pink dress. Then I diverted my eyes to the last boy. He had on a blue hoodie, brown pants, & had platinum, almost white hair. I couldn't believe it. He was the boy Anna & I saw outside her window yesterday. The sexy one. Wait no, I don't like him. He's probably a jerk, I thought. I decided to call their group the Elite. I changed my attention to walking to the office just then. But it was hard to get through. All the crowds of people had cleared into MY way to get out of the ELITE's way. What the hell?! I was frustrated & upset because no one let me move. Finally I just started flailing my arms & shoving forward to get through.
"Slow your roll, Nerd," someone shouted, & all their friends laughed.
"Hey watch out everyone! The nerd herd is coming through!" Someone else yelled. I rolled my eyes but kept pushing. Finally I made it into an empty spot. This is weird, I thought. All of a sudden, someone screamed.
"She's in their way! OMG!" They cried. I turned around to see I was walking right where the Elites needed to go.
"Hey, hey outta the way," pale pink dress called. I nodded & really did try to get out of the way, but I tripped.
"Let me handle this one," white hair explained. Then he knelt down next to me.
"Listen, I don't know who you are, but you better get out of the Big Four's way."
"T-The Big Four?" I stutter.
"Yes, that's us," white hair waved his hand to the rest of the Elites/Big Four.
"But there's five of you," I retorted.
"You think I can't count Nerd? I'm probably smarter than you. And Flynn isn't part of the Big Four, he's just a tag-a-long to Rapunzel," White haired guy explained while he pointed to the smirker with white teeth that must have been Flynn.
"Don't call him that! His name is Eugene," blondie/Rapunzel called. She stomped her foot. Wow, what a drama queen. I rolled my eyes & stood up.
"Get outta here Nerd," frozen heart yelled, his white hair falling over his eye. I was so done with him. I ran out of the yard, away from all the students, & into the office, where Anna was already waiting with her group of friends. How did she have friends already?!?
"Elsa, stay out of the Big Four's way. Are you crazy or something?" Anna yelled. I pounded my forehead.
"How do you already know about that?" I cried. Anna just pointed to her phone. I plopped down in an office chair and put my head in my hands. Today was going to be rough.
