Elsa's POV
Jack wants to stay with me tonight. My mind screams no but my mouth screams yes. I know it will be hard to explain to my parents, but seeing they won't be home for a while & Anna is sleeping over at some girls house, I'll be all alone. I'm glad Jack wants to be my company. Or does he just want a place to stay? I'm so confused. I go into the closet & grab three pillows & a few blankets. I toss a blanket & pillow to Jack. Then I set up two pillows on the couch for me & a blanket to cover me up. Jack settles into one end of the couch & I claim the other. Then I pull out my phone. Jack just eyes me.
"What?" I ask.
"I'm surprised you're sleeping down here with me," Jack tilts his head.
"Well I'm not exactly sleeping with you, I'm on the other end of the couch. Plus I don't know you that well, plus..." I babble on. Jack just laughs.
"Plus, I don't want my parents to shoot you," I add.
"WHAT?!?" Jack jumps.
"Okay I'm exaggerating. But seriously, they don't want to walk in & see a boy sleeping on the couch & an unknown car in the driveway," I laugh.
"Oooohhh," Jack settles. I switch on the TV & toss the remote to Jack. Then I check my phone.
Rap: Elsa? U ok?
Merida: hey lady! Me & Rap r worried about u! Plz tell us what happened! Plus I'm guessing you're not gonna sleepover tonight???
Jamie: Elsa I'm so sorry babe I want you God I'm an idiot
Hillary: suck it
I roll my eyes & respond.
Rap: Elsa? U ok?
Me: I'll explain soon I promise. I'll have y'all over for a movie night tmrw
Merida: hey lady! Me & Rap r worries about u! Plz tell us what happened! Plus I'm guessing you're not gonna sleepover tonight???
Me: hey Mer; sry bout my disappearance. Don't worry bout me I'll cya later & no I can't sleepover😔 but explanations will come soon
Jamie: Elsa I'm so sorry babe I want you God I'm an idiot
Hillary: suck it
Welp, I didn't even respond to them. They didn't deserve it. Except I did wanna choke Hillary. But that could wait until school. I opened up my Instagram & YouTube. There were a lot of videos. Most were on my side. I was proud of that. People finally saw things my way. Even some of the Senior guys posted vids & sided with me & said Jamie was a two-timing-jerk. I agreed. Then I shut off my phone. My head rolled to the side & I snapped up. Jack chuckled at me. I couldn't fall asleep though or else I wouldn't catch my parents coming home. So I focused on the show that was on. But soon, my eyelids were heavy & I was out.
I woke up to screaming & lights brightly shining down on me. I snapped awake to see my Mom throwing pillows at Jack & Eric running upstairs, probably to get his shotgun.
"Everyone STOP!" I screamed.
"Elsa! Who the hell is this?" Mom cried. She clutched a pillow in her hand.
"Why is he sleeping with my daughter!!!" Mom adds, chucking the pillow at Jack. It bursts into feathers when Jack reaches out to block it. I roll my eyes & jump off the couch to grab my Mother.
"Mom! He's just a friend. Jamie's brother actually. I'll explain everything in the morning okay? But for now just keep your head on straight & go upstairs to bed. You'll get the full story in the morning, I promise." I explain as I push Mom toward the stairs. She narrows her eyes at Jack, but reluctantly leaves to her room. Halfway up the stairs she grabs Eric. I turn to Jack.
"Thanks for tonight Jack. You really helped me out." I ushered him towards the door.
"I'm just glad I got to spend the night with you," Jack replied. Then he leaves. I sigh & press my back up against the door. Mom smirks when I start to go up the stairs, behind her.
The next morning after everything is explained, Mom decided she hated Jamie.
"I'm gonna call his mom," my mom says. I start to interject, but it would be nice for his mom to find out. After everything is settled, I ask my parents if I can have people over to watch a movie. Eric says yes before Mom can argue so I text my friend.
To: Merida, Rapunzel, Jack, Eugene, & Hiccup
Me: sry bout my disappearance yesterday & no explanation & barely any txts😁 but yesterday was a bad day & busy, so 2day is all free & y'all can come over if you want to & we'll watch a movie
I send the text & feel satisfied. My phone buzzes about two seconds later.
Rap: Mer & I r in😋 cya later & I'll bring movies
Hiccup: I'll b there
Eugene: sure cya there🍍
I raised a brow at Eugene's pineapple emoji but smiled that everyone could come. Then suddenly I remembered.
To: Miranda & Shay
Me: anyone wanna come over later & watch a movie w/ me?
Shay: that sounds fun
Miranda: not today😐
Shay: y not M?
Miranda: shut up Shay, don't u remember?
Shay: oh yea...sry Els can't come 2today :( mayb another time? :)
Me: yah I guess.
I felt hurt. What was Miranda's problem? I shrugged & started arranging snacks for later.
The doorbell rang at 5:00 & I opened it to see Rap holding hands with Eugene & gleaming. She had a bag of movies & behind her was Merida, her shoulder being occupied by Hiccup. They looked so cute. I laughed & let everyone in.
"Where is Jack?" I asked. Rap raised a brow & I saw Mer try to do the same but her eyebrows were what you called "Stubbornly Synchronized." I giggled & shrugged. Then I lead the group downstairs to the theater projection room. Everyone sat & waited in anticipation for me to start my story. Finally I did. My story went right up to last night where Jack stayed with me & my parents almost killed him. Merida didn't really care, nor did Hiccup, but Rap was all over it. First she scoffed at Jamie, then fangirled over Jack & I. I just sighed. Suddenly Mom called down the stairs Jack was here & we told her to send him down.
