Elsa's POV
The lunch bell rang & I went to my locker to grab my lunch.
"Hey Els," Miranda greeted me. I turned around & smiled.
"Hey ladies," I say toM & Shay, who had just appeared.
"So Mrs. V wanted to hold us back for lunch because we're on the book bowl team. Do you mind?" Miranda bit her lip.
"No it's fine. I'll catch a seat with Rap anyways."
"Okay good!" Shay cried. Then the two girls ran off & I made my way to lunch. I was walking down the hall when I noticed the cafeteria was dark. What the-? Weren't we supposed to eat? I checked the watch on my wrist just to make sure it was lunchtime. Yup.
"Hey! You!" I called out to the boy with the brown hair & glasses, Hiccup.
"Yeah?" He cried.
"Can you please walk me in here. It's really dark, & I'm kinda scared," I admitted, biting my lip.
"Sure," Hiccup chuckles. I walk beside him into the lunchroom & he flicks on a light.
"SURPRISE!" I hear. I look around to see a giant banner. It says:
"Elsa Arendelle, will you go w/ me to the Masquerade Ball?? -Jamie Frost"
I nod my head, tears streaming down my face. Practically the whole school was there holing the banner. Jamie ran out to me & picked me up in a giant hug.
"You did this?" I cry. Jamie just nods & hugs me tighter. Then people disperse & this time I kiss Jamie on the cheek, waving goodbye because he still has another class before his lunch. Rap grabs my arm & ushers me to her table, wiping some tears off my face & squealing.
"Elsa! Wasn't that the sweetest thing ever?" She cries. I nod & giggle. My phone buzzes.
Miranda: just heard what happened from Shay🎉 congrats 💖
Me: thx ily girls😭💜
I slide my phone back into my pocket. While I sit with the Big Four, I notice Jack is nowhere to be seen. Hmm. Now I can eat in peace. Today was such a great day. And tomorrow is my birthday! What a great week!
