The morning of her Saturday was spent pacing nervously around her room thinking of what to do. What Lena did was a shitty thing, the ditching part, not the kissing. Y/n didn't mind the kissing at all, in fact, if she could she would run to Lena and kiss her again. So of course she was disappointed in her. Though Lena basically confessed her love to y/n so what on earth would be a good reason to ignore her any longer if she could be her gorgeous girlfriend?"Ughh, since when is life so difficult? What am I even doing?" Y/n frustratedly asked her reflection in the mirror. Well, that was useless... When she was younger she used to believe that a mirror didn't give your reflection but that it was a portal to another parallel universe, so that it was just a different version of you standing there. Sometimes she still believes it, but even if it was true, the parallel y/n was utterly useless.
"I should just tell her how I feel and then kiss her right? But what if it wasn't even the truth, that she just said that cuz of the heat of the moment? I'd be a fool then." She stared intensely at the mirror, still silently hoping it would reply. Surprise surprise, it didn't. "Ugh whatever I'm already a fool."

After 5 minutes of determined marching, y/n stood in front of Lena's door with a shaky wrist hanging in the air ready to knock any second. Though also with an inner y/n completely freaking out, ready to flee the country.
She stepped away from the door and turned around, walking away from their porch. Her hands were still shaky and her breath uneven. She took her phone and when she saw the screen light up and the little 'ping' indicating a message, the little amount of color completely drained from y/n's face.
It was Lena.
"The grass is still green, right? And my hands aren't shaking abnormally hard. I'm not having a heart attack, am I?" The pale y/n asked herself looking around at the grass and her hands. "Ugh of course not you fool"
You know I can see you having a heart attack on my porch right? ;) The message of Lena read. Y/n looked around to Lena's window and indeed, a bubbly Lena was waving at y/n. She put a nervous smile on her face and waved back. I know, I wanted to invite you outside with me :) she sent her back. She immediately saw Lena moving away from the window as she received a text saying she'll be outside in a second.
"Shoot, what do I do now? Fucking idiot." Y/n cussed at the grass and kicked a stone away.
She heard the front door open and close and then a breathy 'hi' behind her. Y/n turned around and Lena was standing there, trying to get her second shoe on while hopping around on the grass. "Why did you want to go outside?" she asked her.
"Oh well I wanted to talk but at that cute spot, I always sit there to calm my nerves, and well, right now I have a lot of them." She told Lena once she had her shoes on and started walking in a speed tempo to the field of sunflowers.
"And why exactly did you want to talk to me?"
"Shh, I want to talk to you about it at the field." Y/n shushed Lena.
"Jeez y/n why are you walking so fast?" Lena said, even though her legs were longer than y/n's.
Y/n stopped walking for a second and stared at Lena in disbelief and then at Lena's legs in disbelief. "Because I can."
"Okayyy" She stayed silent for a bit after that, swaying her arms back and forth like a little child on its way to the playground. "Can we talk about something else then?" Lena was acting as if there was absolutely no fight the day before and if they were still besties. It was starting to get on y/n's nerves.
"No, be quiet until I say you can talk." She snapped at her and safe to say Lena almost got scared of the look on her crush's face. They walked further in silence until they reached the wobbly road where the field of sunflowers was beautifully displayed. It was near the end of fall so the sunflowers were still blooming, though some of them were at the end of their lifetime.
