Love Me Now. (Book 1)

chapter 10:- when it rains, it pours.

The old bank stands along a stretch of other pubs and restaurants in the centre of the bustling city. The illomantions glowing from the lamp lights.

Entering I'm not sure what I expected but it wasnt this. The place was well lit with beautiful light shade hanging low from the ceiling, it was clearly a listed building with the old exterior, high wooden oak beams and old traditional brick work.

For a sunday evening I found it extremely busier than I expected, Ryder and Lucus grabbed the drinks while me and Mia tried to find a seat, we moved towards the bench and stools by the pool table waiting for the boys to come back.
Sitting with my back to the bar, Ryder rest his arm over my shoulder bringing my drink to the table. The slightest touch sets me on fire, my insides burning awaiting to be set free .

"Malibu and coke, right? " Ryder winks at me.

"Thanks"

Mia and Lucus are too busy cosying in the corner that Ryder swings his chair closer to me, I didn't want to rile him as we were having a great evening but  I needed to know why he stormed off earlier .

'How come you stormed out of Maria's earlier."

"Its stupid, I overreacted."

'You got jealous, didn't you? Even though I told you and Mia I wasnt interested in dating Yet!"

"Jealous! It was far from jealous, I was fucking fuming, after last night what we did, you sleeping in my bed all night and me having the best night sleep to wake up and realise you'd gone. It fucking hurt! I thought maybe we could have resolved some issues but when I saw you in there with him and his fucking hand on your cheek, i flipped o lost it and reacted badly and needed some space to clear my head. "

" I'm sorry Ryder, I never meant to give you mixed messages, you know how I feel about you. I just woke up embarrassed and thought youd regret it so i ran."
"When I met Josh it was just for a coffee and to discuss are lectures for tomorrow, you just happened to walk in when he was wiping whipped cream off my face , that's all!"

"His a player Bee, I just dont want you too get hurt "

"What like you did" I smirked I dont want to make him feel guilty but he needed to be told.

"Can you please at least cancel your date with him for me, I want nothing more than to be with you Bee, I've missed you smile, your kisses, your lips, your dirty fool mouth, the way you scrunch your nose when o tell a silly joke. Can we at least try again, we can go at your pace, whatever you want as long as you'll say you'll be mine again Bee."

I look into his eyes full of emotions and sorrow.

"My pace" I say.

"Your pace, we will take it however slow you need, I'm here for the long haul, I love you Bee, now, always, forever."

I fight back the tears at how much I've missed him. He was and still is my everything.

Hearing louds cheers and shouts from behind I turn to see Ryders football team enter along with Josh.

"Just fucking perfect! " Ryder huffs with annoyance.

"Its fine we can discuss us later, I say touching his hand and entwined it with mine under the table, but first  I need to get out of this date."

"Really?! Ryder smiles with the goofest grin I've ever seen.

"Yes, really!"

It isnt long before they all notice us and come over, Josh comes over offering another drink  .
Ryder is busy playing pool with Daniel, his eyes on me as Josh talks and takes the once empty seat next to me.
