chapter 29:-Planning (Ryder)

I not angry at the fact Sophie slept with Josh, I couldn't give a shit about that, but I'm bloody raging at the fact my so called friend, team mate worked with her to jeopardize my relationship with Bianca. Who the fuck does that?

I saw the way Bianca looked at Josh, she was hurting but she felt pity for him. After he finally admitted the truth to her, she walked away.

I tried to call for her but she just dashed down the corridor disappearing out if sight.

I've known Bianca for along time so seeing her like this, I k we I had to leave her alone, in her own thoughts, sometimes she finds it better to deal with the situation on her own but she has to realise I'm there for her and I'm not going anywhere.

"Come on man, let's get out of here." Said Lucus as he pulls me away from a quarrying Josh.

"Fuck it, I need a drink and a stiff one."

Dropping our cars back off home, we walk into the city centre to a nearest wetherspoons, drinking our sorrows away, well mine anyway.

"I've texted Mia and told her I'm with you and what's happened, she going to keep an eye out for Bianca and wait for her after class. "

"Thanks dude, I cant believe Josh would sink this low to do this to us and with Sophie. What did he think he'd gain out of it." I say swigging back my bud.

"God knows man, his fucked up, I guess he is hung up on Sophie and hated her paying you  all the attention and thought better to work with her than against her hoping something would come out of it."

"Yeah I guess your right. Still it's so fucked up, to have sex with her and let her call out my name. Wtf man."

"Sophie knew what she was doing, she doesnt care about anyone but herself. You three including Josh just got caught up in her pettiness."

"Well least we know now, and I ain't letting her or him come between me and Bee again, I cant believe I was so naive to even consider thinking she'd cheat on me. Fuck I'm a dick.
I need to make it up to her  today was meant to be special man we're been together for a month and everything was going in the right direction." I sigh.

"Well do it, dont let what's happened today ruin your anniversary, if you do then Sophie won. Show Bianca how much she means to you."

"When did you get so wise?" I laugh at Lucus.

"I have Mia to keep me on the straight and narrow, I've done alot of growing up because if her and god I'm a better person for it. " He smirks.

"I have an idea, can you ring Mia and ask her to bring Bianca to the planetarium this evening at 6?" I ask as Lucus whips out his phone.

"6? You do realise they close at 5?"

"Yeah I know, my mum is friends with the owner. " I grin.

"Sweet. Right I've  texted Mia, she all up for it. " Lucus laughs. "You know what Mia's like for a happy ending. "

"Great, I'm going to head back and make a quick trip to my mums and see if she can sort out the VIP treatment for me. "

20minutes later and I'm at my old house where I lived with my mum for a year before I moved out.
I rarely go back much now, dont get me wrong I love my mum, but when my dad died and we packed up and moved things changed between us, we both drifted apart. Sometimes I just felt like I was the lodger using the house as a bed and breakfast, I wont lie I did get out of control and did things I'm ashamed off.

We often text and I make sure to phone her once a week just to see how she doing, she wont admit it but I know she lonely without my dad, he may have become angry to the end of his life but my mum loved him endlessly, I often think I remind her of him and that's why it took her so long for us to have a better relationship after he died, but she been different since that time at the football match when she saw Bee again her eyes lit up  it's like she had another reason to live for, and mine and my mums relationship has gone strength to strength.

The house is nothing special, just your average two up two down, with a nice front and back yard, picket fences around the front aswell as being in a safe residential area so I dont worry about her welfare knowing I'm no longer living here.

Removing my key from the the lock in the old wooden white door, I walk straight in.

"Mum, you home? " I shout. Of course she home, when we moved here she set up her own events planning business using most of her clients from our hometown and has turned it into a successful business that allows her to work from home most of the time.

"In here honey, is Bianca with you?" Hearing her voice echo from the study.

"No, just me." I yell back as I make my way closer to the back entrance of the house.

As always working hard, she sitting behind her office desk, typing away on her laptop with her glasses sitting low on her nose.

"What a lovely surprise" my mum gets up to kiss my cheek.

"So what can I do for you, you havent popped round for a friendly visit. " she now closes her laptop to give me her full attention.

"I need a favour." The begging in my voice gives it away.

"Yes"

"Its mine and Bee 1 month anniversary and we're having a tough time, I want to......"

"For goodness sake, please tell me you havent upset that poor girl again, i dont know how much off your stupidity she will carry on taking." My mum huffs.

"Wooo hang on, let me finish before you judge me, so there this girl on campus who keeps upsetting her, she made out I slept with her so Bee would break up with me and it all kicked off today, really bad, Bee stormed off upset and i want to show her that i love her. "

"This girl, its not the one from the football match is it?" Mum questions observing my every move.

"Yeah." I nod looking down.

"Ryder, seriously! Please tell me you haven't? " she questions.

"No  god no it's been about two months since I last slept with her. It was before me and Bee got together but she cant let it go. "

"Right, I see, and you want me to help you make it right with you and Bianca? So what do you have in mind?"

"What you'll help me." I ask almost in shock.

"Of course I will, your my son and I love you, and i know how much Bianca means to you, i see the change in you when shes around, she makes you a better person. "

" so you know Peter the owner of the planetarium, I was hoping you could maybe pull in a favour and see if he'd let me use the place after it closes. "

"You owe me big time for this young man." My mum is already on the phone talking to Peter.

"Ok Peter said that's fine you can have it from 6pm, he will meet you there and give you the keys, but he said after he leaves make sure you lock up and Mikey the security guard will be a t the gates when you finish to give him the keys back. "

"Thanks mum."

"You best. " she chuckles at me.

"Now go and make your girl happy, after all she my future daughter in law."

"Mum."

"Yeah?"

"I love you, I just wanted you to know that."

"I love you son, and I may not say it often but I'm so proud of the man your become and I know your father would too."

I rush out the house, jumping back into my car, sending Lucus a quick text to say it's all arranged.

He shoots one back saying it's all on Bianca has agreed to go with Mia and Mia will drive them there for 6.

Perfect, I just need one last pit stop to town to pick the perfect ring.
